I was wondering, I have heard a lot about Greek yogurt, I tried that and I cant stand the taste, I love Yoplait yogurt light, is those ok to eat?

I was wondering the same thing to. I have chocholate flavored protein shakes that I would like to know if I can drink those on the clear liquid phase. I do know that you can put unflavored protein in with your crystal light and stuff like that. Lisa

I havent talked to my Dr about this, he is in Mexico. So I still curious, can we still have flavored protein drinks without the banana???

I am kinda confused, I know we are suposed to have clear liquids after surgery, but can you have like chocholate flavored protein drink, and if so can you put like a banana in it and blend it?? Now Im saying the 1st 2 weeks after surgery. Thanks,Lisa

I too think that pictures are the thing that makes me realize how fat I really am, I hate to look at my pictures. I cant wait to get this fat off of me, I too take pain pills for the pain and I hope after I loose all this wait I will be able to stop my pain meds. I think most of my hurting is from being fat. Thank you for the information, that makes me feel better, how many surgerys does the Dr do aday? I was wondering after you go to the hotel do you go back to the Dr before leaving TJ? I have been wondering that. Is the hotel close to the hospital? I am glad I can talk to someone that has been there and knows all about it. Did the Dr ask you what size bouge you wanted or anything like that? Were are you from? I live in Salem OR, has your husband been loosing alot of weight also?\ I know lots of questions sorry. Ya your right about were will I be in a year from now and that is something I never thought to think about and now I will thank you The hard thing I have to do is to stop my Soda and cigs I stoped smokling yesterday and I have to stop my soda 2 weeks before surgery. That is going to be my hardest things but well worth it in the end. Well its off to work for me have a blessed day

Nov 23rd and very nervous and scared and excited, lots and lots of emotions are going thru me like, what if something happens, what will my children do, lots of stuff, hearing that you had a good experience makes me feel good. Did you go to TJ for yours? Did you have much pain after words?? I'm a baby when it comes to pain... Thanks for your post and you have lost a lot of weight, good job!

Dr Jose Rodriguez, he works at 2 locations, I am going to Tijuana for my surgery and he works in Juerez MX also I think I spelled that right... Is this the same person?

I am getting sleeved with Dr Rodriguez, and I never see that many people on here that has had him for a Dr, I would love to hear from all of you!

That is just crazy!!! I'm sorry you had to go thru that! I am going to Tijuana for my surgery and believing in the lord to get me thru it! Gosh that sounds like a terrible and scarry situation you had to go thru, I would have been demanding and screaming at that point. I was told that Dr Rod has not done that many plications surgery's I dont know if that had any play in it or not. How are you feeling now? When was your surgery? I will say a prayer for you and I hope you are doing and feeling better.

I havent had my surgery yet, im getting the VSG I have over 100lbs to lose so I think this is the right choice for me, I will have surgery on Nov 23rd. Did you go to TJ for your surgery? Can you tell me how was your experiance with the drs and your time in the hospital and everything. Thanks

I agree, also it seems slower to me and for some reason sometimes I will get a black screen for like a minute when I try to go into a forum. at least they made it more wider then when they 1st changed it.

Ok I dont really understand, the clear liquid phase, is suposed to be anything you can see through But then everyone is saying that they can have protein drinks which is vanella or chocolate, are they concedured clear liquid? Also, you can have cool aid sf of course, and that is ok also? I just need to be for sure before I get my sleeve Sorry for all the mispelled words Thanks

Hi I am from Salem Or and was wondering if there is any one on here that lives in oregon. I will be sleeved Nov 23rd with Dr Rodriguez, totally scared and excited all at the same time. I think that waiting for this surgery is mentally draiining.

Hi there, I am going to Dr Rodriguez in November and if you go on to obisity help.com and put in Dr Rodriguez there is alot of information on him. He has had 0 leaks and complications are at 1% and I think that is good cause only GOD is perfect. If you talk to the cordinators they will give you lots of names and numbers to call people that has had the surgery and they have all great things to say about him. I feel really good about my decision in having him for my Dr. Good Luck to you!
