yes there is warning but i went directly to the bathroom. It comes up easy. But not fun.

my Dr says 3oz of meat and veggies a small portion if still hungry a carb . They say stop when full.

it definately wasn't fun . slime and gunk...the one positive ...i got no calories lol

well it happened , i lost my meal last night.....maybe i ate too fast , although i may be swollen still from my fill on monday. ughhhhhh it was yuck.

I work in a Dental office ...fyi never ok to put neosporin on your lips. Carmex is good for re hydrating them . Alot of pts at the end of summer get dry peely lips or in the winter.

I think both surgeries are acceptable. There are risks with both. See above post for bypass risks. I have the band : Band risks: Erosion Flipped port Slips Tubing disconnect Tubing leak You just need to decide what will work best for you . I too flip flopped about what i wanted. Im very pleased that i got over the no losing hump and lost almost three lbs since monday!!!!! LOVE ME SOME FILL!!

My Dr puts none in at surgery. So just 2 CC in till nov 5. Ill probably get 2 more. My body just as of late is wanting to hold on to the lbs!!!

my co -pay for bcbs was 1600 to the hospital

Got my fill by the DR. he apologized to me and i accepted.He came in just for me. He showed his nurse that sometimes it will be at a angle . He stuck me only once and got it 2CC's. How many cc's did all you first fill people get?

Going back to the Dr tonight ..Wish me luck ! he will be there for this attempted fill.

Lets start off saying im very pro band , but .... When you work your hiney off to get the band , then to lose weight during band hell time its discouraging to be poked numerous times for her to not find the hole. Im going back to have the Dr do it Monday. hopefully not a flipped port.

I made the comment that if something is wrong id take the band out and go with bypass. The nurse then went and told him i wanted my money back.....not only did she lie...pissed me off . So my Dr called me and said He will do what ever he can for me , but if it doesn't work out he can give me 7 other Drs to go to. My confidence is now going down the dumper. FYI i was also emotional due to the fact i came down with a nasty fever after i got home and a irritated tummy.

Thanks for responding all. You could hear his nurse tapping on hard plastic , my biggest fear is that the port flipped. My husband is in the process this wednesday of being wined and dined for a new job. Im under alot of stress at my job , the girl i work with quit so im by myself so can't just take time off......calgon take me away!

well we are all in the same boat right now....needing restriction and doing it all on will power. My fill is on friday. FYI i also hit a plateau and am gonna adjust my tickler to match my docs scale. Dissapointing but , i want to stay calabrated with him. anyways...keep your chins up we are all in this together!

Going for my first fill on Friday!!! I generally stay away from carbs all together! its hard but i feel better without them. i had a nice ceasar chicken salad my hubby made last night. His was a big one and mine a baby salad. I found creative ways to make my food seem delish! We all can do this !! Oh ....i went and got a partime 8 hours a week at my fav clothing store to buy clothes as i need them at a 40% discount. Its my fun no brainer job. Im actually excited to start this wednesday night. The Dental office is stress to the max so it will be nice having a fun job on the side.
