I think that Unjury is the best Protein that I have tasted, I've tried many brands and found that drinking them is a task for me they have a very heavy taste, and I have to force myself to drink them, On the other hand I find Unjury very enjoyable I buy the unflavored and add it to my coffee and crystal light and it doesn't change the flavor or texture, it's a little more expensive, but well worth it.

Dr. Tiffany Jessee on the west coast was my surgeon, I think that she is excellant , Dr. Jessee and her staff go beyond the call of duty, before, during and after your surgery .

I don't know what part of Florida you are in, but without a doubt, I would go with Dr. Patrick Domkowski of Riverside Surgical in Sebastian Florida. He is a surgeon with Sebastian River Medical Center and is AMAZING. His after care is exceptional, he is friendly, very competent, excellent credentials and his office staff so welcoming and friendly. They help you with the insurance steps, DON'T charge some crazy program fee like other doctors do and I have recommended others to him and they adore his just as much. It was a smooth easy process and he is an amazing surgeon. Truly!!!
126 lbs lighter thanks to the fantastic job Dr. D did on my surgery...I highly recommend him!

Hello junebugs I was banded June 9, 2010, it's been an interesting journey I've lost 65 pounds, and would like to lose 20 more, I love my band nothing worth having isn't easy , but given the opportunity I would do it again, I love the way I feel and especially the way I look, so for me the journey continues, It's so nice to hear from other people who had their bands done around the same time.

Hey, I was banded on June 23. 2010 and I will never look back! I am down 145 pounds and have 35 more to go to my goal. May change it when I get there to more but for now just one step at a time. I was a size 24W and now a 14/16 depending on the brand name. I am 5'9" so that has really helped me hide my weight for years. I am at the point right now where I am truly lost at shopping. I haven't been this size since I was in grade 8 or 9 and that was 18 years ago so the stores that exist now did not then and I am now small enough that plus size stores are too big...so I don't know where to go! I live in Nova Scotia, Canada if anyone has any suggestions I should be super excited right now but instead I am super terrified!!

I have Aetna and i started this process April 31, 2010, because i had previous documentation , after completing my psych eval, my nutrition class and all pre op testing it only took 5 days for approval and I had my surgery on 6/9/2010. Aetna was awesome they even assigned a nurse to follow me for the first 6mos.

yes , I had SILB on 6/9/10 , I had very little pain and my recovery was amazing , didn't have any problems, I was a little uneasy with it when my surgeon told me that she would be using a single incision type lapband surgery, but afterwards i was very happy with her decision, because you heal quicker and you have less complications.

It's normal to feel this way, surgery no matter how big or small is very concerning, but once you arrive at the hospital everything goes quickly that before you know it your surgery is over and you're in recovery , and thinking wow all the time i spent worrying was for nothing , atleast thats the way i felt. So good luck to everyone on your surgeries.
