Yes, it was me. My surgery is the 17th too. Did you start your pre op diet? My diet isn't bad at all ; It's much better than what I ate to lose my last 10 pounds before submitting to insurance. I wonder why some people have to go on all liquid pre-op diets. That would not be fun. I have to go to the hospital on Monday for more blood work, pulminary tests and to see the surgeon one last time before the big day.

I am excited to have someone that is getting it on the same day that I am. We will have a lot to talk about.

Yes, I was happy to see that there. I appreciate that you took the time to welcome me. That means a lot! I have all clearances except for the pulmonologist. I had my sleep apnea study last night and apparently I have sleep apnea. I meet with my doctor again in July (he is on vacation for much of June) and then I submit to insurance. I hope they will approve it because I don't have a BMI of 40. I had a BMI of 39 with comorbidities, so I am worried that they will deny it. I will pray about it and leave my anxieties in God's hands.

Are you feeling really good? Out of curiosity, did you go through the depression that they say often happens about a months after surgery?

I too have PCOS, prediabetes, and am hyperinsulinemic. I was able to conceive after I started taking the metformin which is often used for the conditions I mentioned. s Has your doctor discussed this medication with you?
