Went to my first support group meeting last night. I now know all about knee and hip replacements LoL! It was great to finally met va_viv though!! )

finally got fed up today and drove to my PCP's office, picked up a copy of all my paperwork and the letter then drove it over and dropped it off at my surgeon's office. So hopefully they will submit everything to insurance tomorrow. Now the real waiting game begins!!

Today is 5 months banded and down 44 pounds as of this morning. Slow and steady but happy with my progress! Best decision I ever made )

What support meetings? lol I don't know where any are. But they did suggest we start going now before surgery. Who's your surgeon? I'm using Dr. Halmi at Bluepoint Surgical in Fairfax.

One week post-op and feeling good!! I broke down and weighed myself and was happy to see in three weeks I'm down 16 pounds! Wow that pre-op diet works wonders ;o)

Yay for the first time today a coworker noticed I'm losing weight!! 31 pounds down and counting! )

Two weeks post op and 20 pounds down (w/2 week pre-op liquid diet)...I hope this continues!! )
