Mine will eventually be with Dr.Halmi too!! I'm unfortunately only 3 months into the 6 month med supervised diet. It feels like its taking FOREVER!!! I can't wait to hear how your surgery goes!!

One month banded today! It hasn't been easy but it's the best decision I've ever made! Down 24 pounds and counting )

One week post-op and feeling good!! I broke down and weighed myself and was happy to see in three weeks I'm down 16 pounds! Wow that pre-op diet works wonders ;o)

Really? A taco bar at work today? Really? Ugh!! I think they are desperate to sabotage me! LoL ;o)

Slow week weight loss wise...my fault though...too many temptations. A girl only has so much will power! Overall though I'm down 26 pounds so I can't complain. First fill tomorrow morning!! Scary!!

so annoyed...just got a call from my surgeons office and I need to do an additional one hour consult with the nutritionist which they don't have any open appts for until 2 weeks from now!! They also need a medical clearance from my PCP...my PCP is being a pain about it and won't write the letter until I do all my preop testing. This is such a frustrating process. Grrrrr

So I called my PCP today and they said the sent everything over to my surgeon's on Monday. Called the surgeons and they said they don't have a single thing! No test results, no letter, nothing!! Called back to the PCP and they said someone will have to call me back! GRRRR!!! So seeing as how its now almost 5pm that means this crap won't even get taken care of til Monday!! At this rate I MIGHT be banded in March. Geez! :/

Surgery is officially one week away! Yippy! )

surgery went great! Didnt have to stay over night and was home resting by 430! Today's been good, no crazy gas pains and no problems drinking. Thanks everyone for the well wishes!!

Survived a one week cruise without gaining any weight! Now if I can just jump start this losing trend again )

Survived day two of pre-op diet but soooo hungry! Hopefully tomorrow will be better!

Switched gym memberships last night from Gold's Gym to Lifetime Fitness. I'm so excited because they have two trainers who have gone through bariatric surgery!! Hoping to kick things off right! )

Thanks for the info! The one in Fair Oaks is right next to where I live so I most likely will go to that one. Just have to make sure I don't take classes on Mondays I guess!

Third fill appt on Friday and would like to be down two more pounds by then...can we say GYM TIME! ;o)

this whole process is going to give me a freakin heart attack!! Finally got the clearance letter from my PCP with one problem...they didn't write in it that IM CLEARED!!! WTF!? So now they have to redo it. Thank God I have a massage tonight...I need it!!

Three weeks today! Down 22 pounds, back in the gym and being a good girl with my eating. Its so hard but I look forward to seeing the drop on the scale so I know it's worth it )

Today is 5 months banded and down 44 pounds as of this morning. Slow and steady but happy with my progress! Best decision I ever made )

took a water aerobics class last night which I have to admit always thought was for old people LoL but it was actually a lot of fun and a great workout!! Had my 2 hour pre-op class today. Monday is my pre-op appt with the surgeon then its two weeks of Optifast...fun fun!!

Truely greatful to all the experienced bandsters out there who offer so much support and encouragement to us new bandsters!! It is very much appreciated!! )

Two weeks post op and 20 pounds down (w/2 week pre-op liquid diet)...I hope this continues!! )

Was supposed to have my 2nd fill today but have this terrible cold I can't kick! So next week is fill #2 and hopefully some hunger control )
