hey that's great news, i'm so happy for you. Well me, i'm stuck at 199 altho i'm not complaining, i've been here for about 2 weeks. But that's ok, as long as i lose it eventually, i'll take it. Im suer its my own fault, gotta work on the exercising part. I let arthritis pain be my excuse for not doing what i should. I started back the aqua aerobics so hopefully that will help the scale start moving again. so happy for your date and hope you are healing well from your surgery, keep in touch, good luck sweetie, take care xoxoxo

I started out about 240, i gained weigh while i was appealing, too many last suppers, but lost about 18 lbs preop liquid diet, day of surgery 222 today 203, ive been eating normal food and loss has slowed down but i'll get there, hope you get better and get your sleeve soon. hi donna,,, i had such an easy time that i was amazed,,, the first two days are the hardest,, but they give you pain and nausea meds,, the MOST IMPORTANT thing is to get up and walk, right away,, it really does help,,, and when you get something to drink sip so walk and sip is the best advise anyone can ever give you,,, and i had a very easy time of it,,, its all a vague memory now,,,if you consider its major surgery i was happily surprised at how well it all went,,, i never had any problems getting in my fluids,, i think attitude and expectations carry a large role in the whole process,,, best of luck to you jeani

Hi,,, i got my sleeve on 5/28 4 weeks ago tomorrow-- i posted it because so many people have asked me for a copy of my letter,,, it is a good one and i won,,, yeah,,, i also heard from a friend yesterday who used the letter and just found out she won yipee!!!

hey you, the denial letter from anthem included a letter stating if denied because they say it is experimental then you can request and Immediate Medical Reiew, so i did and i won my IMR and my sleeve is scheduled for 5/28 i think i am still in shock, i started the liquid diet today which sucks but i can deal i just found out friday afternoon, still haven't gotten the letter yet but the doctor's office don't call to schedule until they KNOW it will be paid for, when did you get your sleeve, do you love it?? i am so happy right now but hungry, )

Hi Tif, since you were the first person to ever welcome me on any of these formats i wanted you to be the first to hear my great news, my sleeve is scheduled for 5/28 OMG?? i'm still in shock, i got a call from the dr office and the gal said i'm calling to schedule your surgery!!!I'm so excited, you have been a big help even if you don't realize it, i enjoy reading all the posts and you have always provided a positive caring thought to throw into whatever the mix is, thank you omg )

30 days, they had faxed me a copy of the denial letter to my job so when i got it i faxed them my appeal, which i had edited and now think is probably way too long, (6pages, well 5 and a piece of one) then when i got home and found the letter in the mail it said if denied d/t investigational i could skip appealing with them and go right to asking for an independent medical review so now i don't know what to do. i guess i'll wait and see what they say, all very frustrating and confusing, Please God it will all work out, thanks for caring, i appreciate it, take care
