Wow, you are going to the Valencia Office? what city do you live in? I thought you were somewhere in Riverside. So far I have had a total of 6 cc's and I cannot feel a difference at all. I go back October 2nd, so I am hoping for a change. I am still at 28 pounds lost but I really have to exercise to keep losing. How did everything go for you? Hope it went well!!!!

Well I got my first fill almost 2 weeks ago and I didn't feel any change at all. He put in 3 cc"s. So I am going in this Saturday to get another fill. Dr. Madan said he liked to start with 3 cc and then put more in if needed. So are you driving all the way into the Beverly office or into the Covina office? I go to the Covina office on Saturday mornings. So I have lost about 24 lbs. It is a slow process but I feel a million times better already. I hope you are doing well and feeling successful!!! Sorry its been a while, I've just been running around enjoying my summer, back to work tomorrow. . Hope everything is going well for you. I just had my first fill and don"t really feel a difference either. I am suppose to go back in 2 weeks for another fill if I need it. So how have you been doing since your first fill? Did you get another fill?

I am experiencing the same thing. I went to a meeting and was talking to other women. I guess this is one of the hardest times because we have not had a fill yet. I am eating fish, steamed veggies with hummus, and lots of soft foods. I found that I have to go to the gym and walk about 40 min. to keep losing. I am holding steady at 14 pounds lost. Just starting my 4th week. When is your first fill? I am sure that will help. Thanks for the message!!

Like your posts. So when were you banded? My surgery was July 9th. I have 4 weeks to go until I have my first fill. I have lost 13 pounds. Hope I lose some more... but I wonder. Lets keep each other posted!

I am doing well. Sorry you had to stay 2 nights. I had the same upper mid chest pain. The doctor explained to me that the actual band is very high up so we most likely will feel the pain mid chest and in the center of our backs. Crazy.

Everything went well. It was a very quick appt. He just checked the incisions and then asked me to come back in 4 weeks for my first fill. He said he always waits 6 weeks for a patients first fill. So I am feeling really good. Just making sure I get enough protein and take my vitamins. How are you?

Hi. So far so good. No complaints at all with Madan, other than the busy office, but that is no trouble compared to a good surgeon. I'm 2 weeks out and feeling really good. Thanks!

I am doing really well. Hope your weigh in went well !!! I go for a visit today. (Sat). So do you know how many cc you have filled? I am wondering if I will get my first fill today or just a checkup... it may be too soon for a fill. hmmm....

My name is Dena and I live in Monrovia. Thanks for the response. I can already tell that I won't get much support from the Bev. Hills Surgery Center. When the nutritionist walked in and handed me a zerox print out of the weekly diet plans, I realized I need to utilize other resources. My name is Dena. I just noticed that you were banded by Dr. Madan in Beverly Hills. He will be performing my surgery this Friday. I'm a little nervous... Would you mind if I asked you a couple questions? Did you like Dr. Madan? Did the B.H.Surgery Center set you up with a proper diet plan and follow up? I just am worried that I may not get the needed support afterwards... It seems like they are swamped with patients. Thanks for your time!

I am new to this website and have been reading everyone ones posts. I will be banded on July 9th in Marina Del Rey. I am looking for a support group in Monrovia/Pasadena area. The closest I found was Bubank. Can I attend the Burbank meetings? I would love to meet others and share stories.
