  1. :biggrin::wink2::drum:Super wow! Drumroll please!
  2. I feel the same way. I'm kinda panicking, had my first fill yesterday (I think it was quite meager). So scared that i will gain back the few precious pounds I lost. I'm trying to stay as focused as possible and eat the right things. Hang in there -from what I hear it's supposed to get better.
  3. :thumbup::rolleyes::thumbup:
  4. you sound like a preacher but not in a good way - give the person a break
  5. :cheers2:Hello fellow Canadians and lap banders internationally. I thought I would have a little weight loss challenge for myself and if anybody else is interested please join in. I'm finding that though not so easy it is nice to have a short term goal to aim for. Eh and by the way, Good luck!
  6. :smile2::thumbup: It sounds like you're doing quite well Teri. A few short walks and so soon after your surgery. Hope we hear from the others soon and that all are okay. I walked 30 minutes in the park this evening. Take care
  7. Hope you're feeling alright. Rest up while you can.
  8. I never thought of myself as annoying but maybe i don't know that i am. I haven't been told that.
  9. Hi everybody, my sister and I went to Niagara Falls today and Niagara on the Lake (a small historic town a few miles from the falls) - hours of driving in my non-air conditioned car- boiling hot. walking 2 hours. Great time! lol p.s. Where are you guys?
  10. :grouphug:Hey, where is everybody? Hope you're all okay. 25 minute walk today after dinner with my sister around the neighbourhood. lol
  11. I smoke and they told me please cut down as much as possible. i stayed up in my room and read for most of the time 2 days prior to surgery to try and rid some of the gunk from system. It's great to hear about this Chantix - thinking of speaking to my doctor about it.
  12. I too am worried about extra flab but don't really believe that it will go away. The inner thighs, the bat wings, i'm hoping that since my start weight wasn't extremely high that I won't be left with too much skin. I was much lighter when I had my daughter 18 years ago and my stomach never recovered. Unfortunately I think the reality is; is that if we get to a high weight we are a bit stuck with the excess skin. From the photos I've seen some people look more toned than others and it's an unfortunate reality. While photos show a great reduction in weight they also show excess skin. I would think that exercise should be of some help. lol
  13. Hello all from sunny Toronto. Walk on boardwalk - 25 minutes.
  14. Why not call the doctor and tell them so they could suggest maybe something else.
  15. Good evening from boiling hot Toronto - phew was it humid and hot these last days. Took a nice evening walk with my sister - 50 minutes. Hope everybody's doing okay!:smile2:
