Lap band to sleeve
I have had my band for 7 years and am considering a revision surgery to the sleeve. If you have done this, could you please share your experience?

am I too tight?
If you feel gastric juices and frothiness in your mouth, you are too tight. I know because I did the same thing. I kept thinking it would go away because I was losing weight and then I had a slip! So, take it from someone who learned the hard away....go and have a little fluid removed.

3 fills so far, little restriction, slow weight loss - super frustrated
I was banded in April and was filled to 6cc's eventually. I finally noticed a difference! I was doing great when I suddenly had a slip. The band went back into place without additional surgery. Now, I am at a 6.1 and I no longer feel any restriction. I have gained 16 lbs. So, has anyone else experienced a slip? Is there any hope that I will get back to my sweet spot or is it over. Feeling discouraged.....

1 week Post-Op..1 Concern
Wow!! What a difference a week makes! I am back to my normal routine and I feel great. Today, is the first day I have noticed hunger. Is this normal? My first fill is in 4 weeks and I do not want to gain back the 10 lbs. lost! Please respond.

Getting banded April 28th...nervous!
I was banded just last week and I feel great! Just take it one day at a time and you will do fine. I have not thrown up at all. Just had gas pain in my left shoulder for 6 days, but a heating pad helped with that. You can do it! I know you will have some adjustments concerning food...Head hunger is greater than real hunger. I would get on-line and chat with other patients until it passed! I think of my band as God's gift to me and that helps me too!! Blessings to you!!

Oh my gosh
It is very normal to feel nervous and scared. I simply thought about things ONE DAY AT A TIME and all went very well. I am 6 days post op!
