    Lap band to sleeve

I have had my band for 7 years and am considering a revision surgery to the sleeve. If you have done this, could you please share your experience?

    am I too tight?

If you feel gastric juices and frothiness in your mouth, you are too tight. I know because I did the same thing. I kept thinking it would go away because I was losing weight and then I had a slip! So, take it from someone who learned the hard away....go and have a little fluid removed.
  3. I was banded in April and was filled to 6cc's eventually. I finally noticed a difference! I was doing great when I suddenly had a slip. The band went back into place without additional surgery. Now, I am at a 6.1 and I no longer feel any restriction. I have gained 16 lbs. So, has anyone else experienced a slip? Is there any hope that I will get back to my sweet spot or is it over. Feeling discouraged.....

    No weight loss after surgery!

The first month is really more about healing from the surgery than the weight loss. I am right there with you. @ weeks post and today I noticed I was sooo hungry!!

    1 week Post-Op..1 Concern

Wow!! What a difference a week makes! I am back to my normal routine and I feel great. Today, is the first day I have noticed hunger. Is this normal? My first fill is in 4 weeks and I do not want to gain back the 10 lbs. lost! Please respond.

  8. I was banded just last week and I feel great! Just take it one day at a time and you will do fine. I have not thrown up at all. Just had gas pain in my left shoulder for 6 days, but a heating pad helped with that. You can do it! I know you will have some adjustments concerning food...Head hunger is greater than real hunger. I would get on-line and chat with other patients until it passed! I think of my band as God's gift to me and that helps me too!! Blessings to you!!

    Oh my gosh

It is very normal to feel nervous and scared. I simply thought about things ONE DAY AT A TIME and all went very well. I am 6 days post op!
