Discouraged Slow Loser Here

:smile2: I am trying not to sound like a sore loser by having this band...but that's what i feel like. I have had major surgery done on my body for weight loss...but it seems like its all in vain. I havent lost any significant amt of weight and i have been banded 4 months now... and i have only lost 17 funky lil lbs. What's a girl 2 do? I have been working out...not eating terrible foods, but 4 what? Maybe im just doomed to be fat the rest of my life.:wink2::wink2:

Hang in there. I'm only like 1 month in and haven't lost much, but I'm not worried about how fast I lose. Just that the scale is going down overall. 4 months = 16 weeks. So that's like about 1 pound per week. I think that's great!!! If I love average of 1-2 pounds per week I will feel it's a success. Just think after 1 year, that's over 50 lbs! And the best part is, it will most likely STAY off!! Forever!!! THe band is a slower, but healthier and less invasive process. Just keep doing what you are doing. You sound like a success to me!!!!!

Do you feel any restriction in your band? Have you tried writing down everything your eating? I know I sneak food without even thinking about it if I am not writing it down. I'm sure if your working out your body is changing for the better! I bet your clothes are fitting differently! Find the positives and praise yourself for your hard work! You deserve it! :}

17 lbs. lost is better than 17 lbs. gained!!! Make your eating schedule and stick with it!!!You can do this!!
