I have seen sites where you can map out a route in a specific city or area, but nothing like your describing. That would be pretty neat to have though.

Thank you! I want to lose another 10, but the Dr. thought that this was a good place to stop, so I'm happy. You did great! I'm impressed you can walk that much at work on your lunch break. You walk a lot faster than I do. You ae doing awesome for beimg off for awhile too. You'll be back where you were before you know it. Tomorrow is my day to sleep in an extra hour and I'm really looking forward to it! I am so tired! I was supposed to go to a Girl Scout Leader meeting tonight and I'm even skipping that. I would rather stay home and watch Hannah Montana Forever with my daughter. LOL I will be back at the Y again on Thursday and hopefully will be able to repeat the 3 miles again. Keep up the great work!

I usually eat a burger with no bun, but last weekend we were at McDonald's and I had a cheeseburger with the bun and it was really good! I only ate half of it, but it definitely helped my craving.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one going through this. My mom told me she was so happy that she could see my "pretty" face now. I hope you did this surgery for yourself and not for vanity reasons, because, you got it going on already" That is a great thing to say.
  6. I'm doing that same thing. There will be NO chocolate in my house! Especially no Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

What kind of exercise are you doing?

I have a good friend who raves about Zumba and I would definitely like to try it sometime. Right now I do the elliptical, an arc trainer, walk, swim and weights. Not all in the same day of course.

How is everyone doing? I was able to swim 100 laps on Friday! It was much slower than I used to do it, but at least I finished it. I did quite a bit of walking over the weekend and a bit today. It will be back at the gym again for me tomorrow. I'm seeing the trainer again on Saturday, so I need to get ready--I haven't seen her in a couple of weeks. I hope everyone is doing well!

You are exercising and that is the important thing. :tt1: That is great that you are off some meds too! I took it pretty easy last week, after I over did it on my knee. I did more upper body stuff and some biking on the reclining bike. I'm back to normal now though. :tt1: I have been doing more on the elliptical and have upped my weights as well. I decided that rather than do all cardio one day and then almost all weights the next, I'll be more consistent. I'll do more cardio on my weight days and do some weights on my cardio days. I'm also going to start shuffling up the cardio, rather than sticking to the elliptical all of the time. We'll see how that goes. I hope everyone is doing well!

How is everyone doing? My 8 yr old son saw the raquetball court at the Y, so I've been playing a lot of raquetball this weekend. My arm is killing me! I guess not playing since HS has made me a bit out of shape for raquetball. I got a Go Wear Fit thingy, it is like a Body Bugg and it is really making me feel a lot better about my exercise. I've been burning more calories and taking more steps than I thought I was. Very encouraging. I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!
  13. My husband saw them in concert last week and said that she was pretty heavy.

    April bandsters

I'm very excited that I'm getting close to my goal! My Dr. has started me on 1.5 C of food/meal now and 2 Snacks on the days I work out. I think I'm eating more like a normal person now. I only eat if I'm hungry, if I'm not hungry and it is the time I would normally have a snack, I don't have it. I hope that I continue to do well. I'm definitely trying!

LilMiss, 3.4 lbs in 3 days is awesome! You are doing great! Your workouts are incredible too. It is really inspiring to see you exercising 3x/day like that. I can do the mornings, and my 30 mins at work, (not even that every day), but not much at night. You are really doing well! I was planning on making today my day off, but yesterday when the alarm went off at 4:45, I just moved it up an hour and went back to bed. I was totally exhausted! I spent most of the day in a fog. I took an Ambien last night and slept SO much better. I felt pretty good when I got up early today and went to work out. Today I did 45 on the elliptical, 20 on the bike and 30 mins walking. Tomorrow is my weights day, so I'll do 15 mins on the elliptical and then 75 mins or so on one of my weight routines. Friday is all cardio again. I've been really hungry after working out lately too. Today I ate almost 1200 calories!!! Almost 1000 just at work--2 Snacks even!! I have to get this eating under control, it won't matter how much I'm working out if I eat like this! I hope everyone is doing well!

    Eating too much? Opinions please

My Dr. started me with 1/4 C or 2 oz as well. I was banded in April and last week I was told I could move up to 1/2 C of food if I were still hungry after 1/4 C. If you are losing weight, I think you are doing a great job! I hope that your vomiting stops soon!

    your scale of Drs?

I use the one at home. If it seems off, I'll take a 5lb weight and see how close it is. Usually it is very close.
  18. My hair is really falling out! I'm using Biotin and Nioxin, but haven't seen any difference yet. I had some blood taken on Saturday, so the Dr. will see if I'm deficient in something. I hope that there is something they can do--if not, I'll bald by October! I have had one fill, but am getting another one tomorrow. I've just been starving lately! I'm afraid to weigh myself this week because I'm sure I've gained a few pounds and I don't want to know. I'm hoping that this fill brings back my restriction. It has been a real struggle lately not to eat like a horse.

    Congratulations, that is great!

    Why can't I use a straw?

I'm the same. My Dr. told me unless it made me uncomfortable there was no problem with it.

GG, that is good news about the labs and it must feel great to get those stitches out! I hope everything is ok on your arm! Were you able to get your run in yesterday am? LilMiss - 3 am?? You are REALLY dedicated! I worked out 1x this weekend. I did spend most of the day Monday at a Water park with 6 kids though. It was on the side of a steep small mountain. So, I went up and down a lot! We also did quite a bit of walking on Wed am. We flew out that afternoon and finally the kids are old enough to walk around NYC. After we saw more family, we were able to walk around for about 4 hours before we had to head to the airport. I was going to get up early on Thursday and go to the gym before work, but we didn't get home until after 9 pm on Wed. night and I had NO energy, so I skipped it. I didn't even do my walk at work because I had over 700 emails to go through! This am I was able to get to the Y by 5 am and did 30 mins on the elliptical and 30 on the bike. Tomorrow I'll see the trainer and I have time to get in some cardio before then. Sunday, we are going to see an exhibit at the museum and the Y opens late, so I don't know if I'll make it or not. But, on Monday I can get into my routine again. I need to start stretching again too. I can really tell that I haven't done it in a while. It has been a week! I hope everyone has a great weekend!
