Yep! I had big red welts on my tummy for WEEKS! Honestly, the itching was the worst part of the healing process for me.

Lol I was just a bit "chunky" no?
I still have some to go....so not quite "after"
But A LOT BETTER!!!
You're beautiful before AND after

Post-sleeve, it's definitely weird to see how much "normal" people eat, and trying to comprehend that I used to eat that much too! It's kind of surreal.

Well lets just say I am built for
Comfort and not for speed i like jogging and running but my back and boobs kill even when I wear 2 sports bras so bike and hastily walking it is..
Do you think you're going to get a reduction anytime soon?
-
I wish mine would shrink.. silicone doesn't shrink so I'm stuck with 36HHH until I have them reduced they still look nice but my back achesI was wondering how big those were! They do look nice, but I can't imagine your poor back. Mine always hurts and mine were just F's!

I get about 50 oz daily on average, and that's about the best I can do. Any more than that and I'd never have time to eat

I am a 44DD and terribly uncomfortable right now, all sorts of aches associated with the sheer weight of the girls (not to mention that bras have become devices of torture) My surgery is October 5 and along with the obvious weight loss and I am seriously hoping the twins will diminish as well. Did your boobs shrink measurably ? would love to hear your stories to give me hope.
I started a 44F, so I feel your pain (literally!) I'm only 3 months out, but my boobs have definitely begun to shrink. I'm not sure what size I am right now because there is no point in buying new bras for these ever-shrinking puppies--I would be so happy to end up a C. That would be great.

I haven't even reached week 2 yet and I've been stalled for a whole week. Very disheartening. Here's wising you the best in getting going on your journey once again! Good luck! That's not a stall. That's just your body recovering from surgery

For the same reason we got the sleeve to teach us how to control and form new eating habits. Do you see both are just different approaches to solving the same problem with eating too much?
Right, but the patch gets removed after a month. They're not really comparable.

It sucks now, but soon it'll all be in the rear view

Off and on for the past week I've been having some pain in my upper belly' date=' right in the upper middle and over to the right upper quadrant. Seems to get worse 2-3 hours after I eat. Hasn't been bad enough for me to mention to anyone before today. This morning, I woke up and it felt like someone had stabbed me in the middle of my upper stomach. I went to an urgent care center and they sent me to the ER. I had an ultrasound done and they found small gall stones and sludge. The pain eases on its own. I had some nausea with or from (who knows which) the pain I had this morning. That is better now too. I haven't had to have anything for pain so far.[/quote']
You're gonna feel so much better once you get that puppy out!! I was miserable until mine finally got yanked.

It's definitely hard feeling like you're under a microscope all the time! Perhaps when you're not in meltdown mode you could let hubby and daughter know that though you appreciate all their support, sometimes it would be better if they just left comments in their head

I was a thin teen. Didn't start gaining weight til I moved out at 18 and moved in with my (now) hubby. He has a crazy metabolism and can eat whatever he wants without going above 165 pounds. I picked up most of his bad habits

You know what I find funny is when I tell people I had a gastric sleeve' date=' they automatically assume Lap Band. So I then have to spend some time educating them and once they find out what I did, and the changes I have made for my health, they are less likely to judge..amazingly enough.I don't understand why people don't think what we have done is natural..I have no foreign objects in my body, I have changed the shape of my stomach to allow me a better life. SMH!!![/quote']
The few people I've told think the sleeve is gastric bypass.

I'm not a Christian, but I will never understand why atheists take such offense to the personal beliefs of others. To imply that all Christians are sheep or have fundamentalist beliefs is completely ignorant and an unfair generalization.
IMHO, to absolutely refuse the existence of a higher power is as absurd as absolute faith in one.

I used to have those dreams all the time when I was on Medifast. I would wake up in a panic. I hated that!! I haven't had one yet since being sleeved. (Watch, now I'll have one tonight)

I puked every time I tried to drink for the first 3 days. Don't feel bad if you can't down a whole Protein drink
