    Block someone

    Is it me? Hehe
  2. The sleeve size is generally pretty similar regardless of bougie size used. The only people I've heard of who have especially large sleeves are folks with lots of scar tissue from the lap band or who have anatomically "long" stomachs.

    My significant other is aggravating!

As much as you don't want to, I think this is going to require sitting down and having a long conversation. Sometimes this surgery can affect our significant others in ways we didn't expect.

    Before and after pictures

I think this was posted in the wrong subforum

Has the sleeve not worked for you?

I think that's pretty common for lap-to-sleeve patients, unfortunately. That band can really wreak havoc on the poor stomach!

    ONEderland Finally

You look great! Love the short hair

    Stretched stomach?

My advice is to learn from your mistake and realize fried rice is a trigger food for you.

    ChocolAte

Nothing will happen to you; the sugar may not sit well with some people, though. You'd do better to get your chocolate fix from a protein bar or something like that. Otherwise it's just a lot of extra carbs.

    "Head Hunger"

Head hunger hasn't gone away for me. When I recognize head hunger, I drink something instead and it goes away. That's not exactly useful when you're on the liquid diet, though!!

    "Hair" Today, Gone Tomorrow...

Meh, if my hair falls out that'll give me an excuse to buy and wear a cute Korean fashion wig.

    grocery shopping...

The frozen entrees might be making you retain water. Very high sodium.

    1-2 lbs consistently?

My surgeon told me 1-2 pounds a week would be the ideal loss at my stage. I got sleeved 5/22. So be happy--you're right on track!
  16. If you don't want to raise suspicion, you could be sneaky and just eat the broth.

Before you post you've "only lost X pounds"

What I find ironic is how many sleevers like to complain when someone calls WLS the "easy way out", but then get upset that it isn't just that. Guess what? Your weight will always be a struggle--FOR LIFE!! The pounds won't fall off in a week, and when they're gone it still requires hard work to keep them gone.
  18. Holy moly, you must have hit that obstacle hard!!

    I hate eating

The shock to me wasn't so much that I liked to eat; I mean, I knew I liked the flavors and whatnot. I didn't realize just how pleasure I got from eating large QUANTITIES of food, and being able to finish my whole plate. That's what came as the biggest surprise to me.
