I'm not a Christian, but I will never understand why atheists take such offense to the personal beliefs of others. To imply that all Christians are sheep or have fundamentalist beliefs is completely ignorant and an unfair generalization. IMHO, to absolutely refuse the existence of a higher power is as absurd as absolute faith in one.

I used to have those dreams all the time when I was on Medifast. I would wake up in a panic. I hated that!! I haven't had one yet since being sleeved. (Watch, now I'll have one tonight)

I wonder where your surgeon gets 4 pounds per week from? My surgeon said 1-2 pounds per week is what should be expected.

I have the same problem, and I find logging my food on MyFitnessPal helps a lot. If I have to log the food and actually see it on the screen, makes me think twice about eating more than I ought to!

My husband didn't want me to have the surgery. He finally "consented" when I found doable financing and was able to explain to him adequately how much of an emotional toll this whole lose/gain cycle was having on me. It also made him uncomfortable (with good reason) that I was having surgery halfway across the country with a man I'd never met. However, once he met the surgeon those fears disappeared. -

Everyone heals at a different rate. If regular food isn't working for you yet, by all means stay on purée and try again in another week. -

I used to have a supervisor who was very religious, and one day he pulled me into his office to ask me if everything was ok. I was very confused and told him everything was just fine. He got this relieved look on his face and told me he couldn't get me out of his head all weekend, thought something might be wrong, and he'd been praying for me. I had NO IDEA what to say, so I just said "Thanks" and awkwardly left the room. So, so weird.

Well there are hormones stored in your fat cells so when they deplete, the hormones are released in large quantities. That may be a big part of it! -
