What have you been eating, Pebbles? What would a daily menu be for you, as an example.
Thanks in advance.

No problem anytime, this is a great place to vent when your having a problem their is always someone here for you!!!! I am 3 months post op and still have so many cravings, but I'm scared to try most of them for fear of getting something stuck or having the dreadful sounding PBing that thank god I haven't experienced. Sometimes I feel like I could kill for a piece of pizza or some rice and Beans. I mean literally "kill" LOL -
What did y'all put on your incisions - Vitamin E or? I forgot to ask the doc.
Thanks in advance.

I too had the pain in my left shoulder, and was told it was the gas. The good news - it does go away after about 1 week.
I had to get up and walk around to alleviate the pain.

I had my surgery done by Dr. Leung in Surrey, BC. Cost me $13,000.

PhotoNut, I too have a goal weight of 130 and I was 307 lbs the day I left the hospital. I think 130 is realistic, for sure. I am 5'5" - what about you?

I'm new here too. I go by "Katgirl" (a derivative of Catwoman)for 2 reasons: my actual name is Katrina and, I consider myself to be a strong person; a helper to those who are not strong; an advocate for all! A saver of cities!
Don't you think it is "prrrrrrfect".
I was banded Oct 13th; hey, maybe next year I will be able to wear a Katgirl costume!

Hi, All. I had my surgery on October 13th and have lost 30 pounds thus far. I was okay for a bit there with my hunger pangs, but now find I am getting very hungry:hungry: . I have my first fill scheduled for November 23rd and hopefully I will feel some restriction afterwards. Up until 2 days ago I ate nothing but Clear Liquids, but have since progressed to something a little different - I made a homemade chicken soup: LOTS of chicken, little bit of carrots, peas and onions. I then blended it, not to liquid, but to a soft consistency, however, I don't think this qualifies as a clear liquid:phanvan ? I eat about 1/3 of a cup of this Soup every 3 1/2 hours or so. I also find I can drink plenty of Water by adding Crystal Light to it.
I feel a little guilty and disappointed with myself for not sticking to the exact clear liquids (my Dr. wanted me to stay on the clear liquids until my first fill date, November 23rd), but I just don't feel I can function on this anymore.
Any thought.
Cheers.

I also will be having my first fill before solids. In fact, my Dr. wants me to remain on Clear Liquids until that time, and he will then tell me what to eat. I was okay for a few days there, but now I am getting hungry again..how will I make it! My surgery was Oct. 13th - my first fill is scheduled for Nov. 23..more than 30 days.

The headache should go away. I felt really weak and dizzy my first week, but now I feel fine. After checking with your Doc you should start your Vitamins. I take a Multivitamin, Calcium and Vitamin D.
God Bless.

Jacqui, how did you start the running? Did you start with walking? or? That's what I envision myself doing with my dog.

Tonight my husband and I went for a walk with the dog. It's the first time I've gone for a walk in a longgggg while. Daddy was holding the Rocky's leash and every once in awhile he would peak around Daddy's legs to look at me (with a grin on his face, I'm quite sure!) as if to say, "what the heck?" He probably couldn't believe I was with them! I had stopped going previously because I would get about 1/2 of a block and my lower back would be killing me - I'd have to turn around and go home! I am going to start taking the dog for a walk in the mornings and afternoon, after work, like I used to.
Cheers!

As you can see, my pic sits down where my weightloss trail is; how do I put this up above beside where it says Katgirl?
Thanks in advance.
