    Relationships After Vsg

Yes talk to her and explain how you feel. Sometimes in relationships its easy to shut each other out and forget how to get close again or express how we feel because of hurt..I hope the talk goes well and things rekindle. Wishing you a happy holiday:)

Well If you want it here it goes womp , womp, womp!!! Any logical adult would have opted to have this type of serious life altering and threatining surgery at a reputable, accredited HOSPITAL Duh!!!! Go figure..I'll keep you in my prayers..tip of the day lay off the wine..It speeds up recovery.
  16. I would do it again in a heart beat! I have more energy, my knees have improved without aching pain constantly.Recovery wasn't near as bad as I expected and It was the best decision I could have made for my health and well being..yesterday made 8weeks out and I'm feeling great. I was nervous as well but I'm so glad I did it.

Iggy Chic..looks like to me all you have done on this forum lately is try to discourage others from having this surgery and it's simply not right. Nothing you say can justify that and I WONT stand for that! If anything you owe presleevers an apology for your negativity and disgusting display of character."It wasn't worth the risks and pain","You would never do this surgery again", "You will always feel guilt about having it done"? Really? Stop it!!Stop scaring other presleevers!!!!!It gets better and you know it!!!If that's all you want to do here, find another forum! This IS NOT THE PLACE DEAR!!!!!.......................PEACE AND LOVE!!!

I'm not sure what would make you say that. This person is obviously having a tough time. If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all! Have you had the surgery? If not, you have no right to comment. If you have, think yourself lucky that you didn't have these complications! You're one of the reasons I hate people! No need to hate "people"

I didn't mean to be offensive as I am greatly concerned, But being in the medical field as am I, I didn't expect to hear that a medical professional would seek advice here on such an urgent matter and then respond in a unurgent manner ..that's all. There are so many that come here before surgery to see if this is the right choice to make.Complications do happen..I'm not ignoring that..some just look for a cyber fight wherever they can find it..sad

Is this for real or is it to scare others from the surgery? I'm just wondering.

I WAS OFF FOR FOUR WEEKS TO MAKE SURE I WAS HEALED REALLY GOOD..SOME GO BACK AS SOON AS TWO WEEKS. I HAD MINIMAL SORENESS AND I WOULD DO IT AGAIN AS WELL. DON'T BE AFRAID. I WAS NERVOUS TOO.I THOUGHT ABOUT THE IRREVERSIBLE PART AS WELL AMONGST OTHER THINGS..BUT ALL IS WELL AND SO WILL WE BE:)

    Torn!

Hello, I just had the sleeve done and this Thursday makes 8 weeks. It was the BEST decision I have made..the weight comes off at a steadt pace about 2-3 pounds a week and I love it. U have to do what's best for u and thats be at a healthy weight. I didnt do it for vanity but for longevity of my knees and health. If them tossing out some of my stomach to avoid me putting food in it and gaining weight its worth it. Go for it!!
