Hope everything went well! Pre-op I thought for sure I'd be on the boards immediately after surgery but the reality was I wanted nothing to do with the computer for days! So stop by when you're ready and let us know how you're doing!

Thanks for checking in! I gotta admit, the first two days were rough - the shoulder pain alone was enough for me to call the doctor and beg for painkillers, but four days post-op and I'm feeling pretty great. I definitely have a lingering tightness in my chest pretty much non-stop, but I'm told that will go away when the internal swelling has subsided!

But enough about me, how are you doing?

I just passed 24 hours without even thinking about cheating so I'm pretty happy! My head is a little groggy but my stomach is full and satisfied so I guess I can't complain. And I survived the magnesium citrate ordeal, so all in all I'm doing well! Thanks for asking!

Also, your last week will FLY BY!! I'm certain of it! If I hadn't moved my day, I'd be getting ready for surgery TOMORROW! That's just insane to me, four weeks ago I thought I'd never get here!

Glad you're feeling better already! I'm taking Monday and Tuesday off so I hope that's enough to feel at least good enough for work. I'm stuck in a desk all day so it should be too bad! =)

How's the port pain? That's one thing I'm really worried about. I hear it's common.

Congratulations!! Gosh, I can't remember the last time I lost five pounds! I usually lose two, get excited, and gain three!! First fill already, eh? I hope my surgeon is as aggressive!

Wow 11 lbs! That's exciting! My date got pushed back to Friday (from Thursday) and I think I'm going to start my liquids tonight anyway. I am really ready mentally to start, so why not? I hope I'm as successful as you!

Hey there! Wow, have you really lost 27 pounds pre-op?? That's amazing! I wish I was going into surgery that much lighter! I'm not really on any major pre-op diet so I'm just hovering where I normally am. I only have to do liquids two days prior to surgery. That'll start Tuesday. I'm so excited though, for all of us May Bandsters!!

So you're two days in now, right? Are you feeling any better?

I am SO EXCITED!! I feel spoiled because my journey has not been that long (which is both a good and bad thing) but waiting out the next five weeks is going to be agony!
