  1. betsy- I get pneumonia so easily that as soon as I get a small cough I am in the doctors office....im not gonne let a head cold knock me down!

I had a goal I set for myslf for my birthday and missed it by ONE STINKING POUND!!! so I made another goal for Nov 1st...and I am nine lbs away...and I am NOT missing it this time. haha I TRY to do 2 hrs every day but usually run about an hour to 75 minutes...but not last week, this week or next week....two hours no exceptions! :)

  2. just have to put my 2 cents in....but I must be the only person to think this... I think it tastes like straight up cough syurp! haha before I had ever tasted and during pre-op (was on the list of things ok'd during luquid phase) I found it 10 for $8 at kroger....was pumped. bought ten....and the nine unopened bottles sit on the porch....

I like Water with fresh lemon squeezed in it....quenches my thirst every time! :)

  3. well today I woke up with a horroble sinus infection....and all I wanted to do was lay there and sleep. today was weigh in day so I stripped and stepped on the scale and it read 199.3!!! woohoo! so I preceeded to get on my workout clothes and tennidls shoes and did my normal 2 hour workout. now, I will admit I walked my 30 minutes on the treadmill instead of my normal jog/sprint.

as I sit here drinking my hot tea watching trashy reality tv, not feeling well at all...i'm proud of myslef and feel good that I still worked out....and that I'm in ONEDERLAND!!!!

  4. does anyone out there feel more restriction when having a sinus or allergy problem.

symptoms of sinus infection started yesterday and today my band is prett snug. I can still get stuff down...but that perfect spot i've been feeling for the last two months is gone. also, I'm curious what meds the doc will put me on...usually a z-pack does the trick. hmmm...it will be curious to see!

  5. aw scoops! first breathe! it really is going to be ok! first things first....STAY OFF THE SCALE!!!! all it is going to do is make you stress....and the cortizol in stress actually hinders weight loss.

second...yu are going to flucuate pounds from day to day. as far as the 6 lbs goes...pre surgery I would gain 10 during that time....its gotten better and better as the months tick by.

your total of pounds lost is amazing! it is too early for you to start beating yourslef up :) continue exercising....and try to start focusing on some NSV's.

  6. I love to bake....always have and always will. its therapeutic for me...so I love the idea of a 100 calorie cupcake. especially for bake sales and when I make birthday treats for my friends.

as far as the challenges on the biggest loser....i think its kinda cruel. like when they made them go into that room by thenselves with all that food? ( couple seasons ago)

  7. first off...take a deep breath. I find that stressing about it makes it seem waaay worse than it is! tomorrow is a brand new day....with brand new struggles. on that note....i eat wendy's chili probably once a week. I pick it up on my late night @ work. I get a small and eat about 3/4ths of it. I am at my sweet spot right now...can eat almost anything but very small amounts and am satisfied. just because you have 2ccs doens necesarily mean you have restriction. I only have 4cc's in my 10 cc band....but there are people on here that have 8 or 9 and are still not in the green zone.

everyone is different. I'm sure you did not sabotage yourslef! start anew tomorrow! and if you're still feeling guily walk an extra 20 minutes (exercis always helps me get my head on straight!) good luck! :smile2:
