    Vitamins...

there isn't the same nutrients in childrens vitamins. I get mine from bariatric pantry...not the best tasting but its what my body needs. if you compare the vitamins and nutritional percentage between the two you will see the difference. iron being one of them!
  2. 6 out of 7 days I love my big baggy clothes! today, I HATE THEM!!! I feel frumpy and unkept (same emotions I felt when I was 65 lbs heavier....) so today was a day I hated everything in my closet....so I went shopping!!! now I feel better :w00t: happy shopping
  3. it was on the news here when they were installed and the camera guy was standing there taping someone go through and showed what was on the screen....so not sure if they are in a closed room or not. I haven't flown since they were installed...my doctor here says everyone in his practice needs to get the card for tht very reason

    Not drinking while eating??

once you reach restriction you won't be able to drink while eating....it really hurts. start practicing now! don't set a cup @ the dinner table...it will help

    My nsv!!!

betsy- I get pneumonia so easily that as soon as I get a small cough I am in the doctors office....im not gonne let a head cold knock me down! I had a goal I set for myslf for my birthday and missed it by ONE STINKING POUND!!! so I made another goal for Nov 1st...and I am nine lbs away...and I am NOT missing it this time. haha I TRY to do 2 hrs every day but usually run about an hour to 75 minutes...but not last week, this week or next week....two hours no exceptions!
  7. well today I woke up with a horroble sinus infection....and all I wanted to do was lay there and sleep. today was weigh in day so I stripped and stepped on the scale and it read 199.3!!! woohoo! so I preceeded to get on my workout clothes and tennidls shoes and did my normal 2 hour workout. now, I will admit I walked my 30 minutes on the treadmill instead of my normal jog/sprint. as I sit here drinking my hot tea watching trashy reality tv, not feeling well at all...i'm proud of myslef and feel good that I still worked out....and that I'm in ONEDERLAND!!!!

    Vitamin Water Zero

just have to put my 2 cents in....but I must be the only person to think this... I think it tastes like straight up cough syurp! haha before I had ever tasted and during pre-op (was on the list of things ok'd during luquid phase) I found it 10 for $8 at kroger....was pumped. bought ten....and the nine unopened bottles sit on the porch.... I like water with fresh lemon squeezed in it....quenches my thirst every time!

  11. yes you can!!! :cursing: I bought a size 16 august 3rd.....was wearing an 18 at the time. the 16's were tiiiight! haha today those 16's are so big I had to safety pin them! so I think you can totally do it :huh2: MAKE SURE YOU WORK OUT! it changes your shape and helps with the weight loss
  12. hi! I'm answering your question about restriction. everyone is different so there is no rule book on it....but for me perfect restriction is being able to eat ALMOST anything (cant do sandwiches...but if I wanted I could do toast or something like that) I eat about 1/2 c to 3/4 c of food and am satisfied for about five hours. I have been filled really tight and did not like that at all! I have lost 65 lbs since may and have 30 more till goal!! :) good luck! and don't get discouraged....the green zone will find you!

  15. mdhannant-i went and got it! did my first nasal cleanse and don't feel much different, but I am excited to see if this helps. I really didn't want to go on another antibiotic! thanks for your suggestions

Beginning to feel like a failure

aw scoops! first breathe! it really is going to be ok! first things first....STAY OFF THE SCALE!!!! all it is going to do is make you stress....and the cortizol in stress actually hinders weight loss. second...yu are going to flucuate pounds from day to day. as far as the 6 lbs goes...pre surgery I would gain 10 during that time....its gotten better and better as the months tick by. your total of pounds lost is amazing! it is too early for you to start beating yourslef up continue exercising....and try to start focusing on some NSV's.

    Second Fill WOAH!!!

I feel that its normal. sometimes I do three days of liquids because of swelling....and it was on fill #3 and #4....and I feel that I am at perfect restriction. good luck!!
  19. cleo's mom. I know there is a website that you can review and post comments about doctors...you will have to google it....also, I wonder if doctor's get reported to the BBB?
  20. did anyone find the recipe for the 100 calorie cupcake that was on the biggest loser tonight? looked for it and couldn't find it....
  21. trishfish

    100 calorie cupcake

I love to bake....always have and always will. its therapeutic for me...so I love the idea of a 100 calorie cupcake. especially for bake sales and when I make birthday treats for my friends. as far as the challenges on the biggest loser....i think its kinda cruel. like when they made them go into that room by thenselves with all that food? ( couple seasons ago)
  22. I would call your doc and ask...
  23. first off...take a deep breath. I find that stressing about it makes it seem waaay worse than it is! tomorrow is a brand new day....with brand new struggles. on that note....i eat wendy's chili probably once a week. I pick it up on my late night @ work. I get a small and eat about 3/4ths of it. I am at my sweet spot right now...can eat almost anything but very small amounts and am satisfied. just because you have 2ccs doens necesarily mean you have restriction. I only have 4cc's in my 10 cc band....but there are people on here that have 8 or 9 and are still not in the green zone. everyone is different. I'm sure you did not sabotage yourslef! start anew tomorrow! and if you're still feeling guily walk an extra 20 minutes (exercis always helps me get my head on straight!) good luck! :smile2:
  24. I needed a warning before dinner sunday: my MIL had a huge bowl of reese cups on the founter when we went there for sunday dinner.....i am not kidding I found myself staring at the dish the whole entire day! agh! like I said in my first post IT IS EVERYWHERE!!!!!
