  1. Thanks for your message! I just got home from the Y and doing some shopping, and I am worn out. But it is a good kind of tired you know.

    Welcome to LBT! I know that you'll find a lot of good information here, and be sure to join us in the chatrrom. There's usually a lot of talk going on in there, some lapband advice, some off topic, but we have fun!

    Are you banded yet? I won't be until January 2011, but I am on my supervised diet now, and I have had my psych eval done, and now I will wait to get the rest done until the fall.

  2. taco soup

    1 can diced tomatoes

    1 can pinto beans

    1 can kidney beans

    1 can black beans

    1 can hominy, if you want it!

    1 lb ground beef

    1 pkg dry ranch dressing mix (not the dip kind or buttermilk kind!)

    1 pkg taco seasoning

    1 onion chopped

    1 can green chiles

    brown ground beef, drain. dump all of the cans in, without draining. Add seasoning packets. Cook for about 45 minutes, so flavors blend. It will be thick but you can add water to it if you want.

    Theresalot of protein in this, and I think it would be if you blend it!
