  1. When my dr says a month it is always 6 weeks to. I use dr Grooves partner I believe its part of thier fill guide lines. I can understand that yuore frustrations lay more on the being lied to by the staff but they probally have alot of patients who know if he is in the office will just show up demanding to see him. I think that may be their way of using a easier method to go by the guidelines than arguing with some patients about changing fill appointments. But I do belive they should just tell it like it is and not lie to you. As for your band it will get esier as you go and as long as your not gaining any loss is good at this point. You will get a fill that does it for you some times it takes a while. It took me nearly a year to even start losing so just hang in there.

  2. We can band the stomach but we have to work really hard to restrict the mind. You did something I think almost everyone here has done. I know I have at least. Dont punish yourself or beat your self up about it that will lead to it happening again. Just accept it as it is and move on to the next moment. And if you do eat them on the treadmill and work up a good sweat I dont think you will want them again,just may make you sick.

  3. well I have found it hard to figure out what and when I am going to fit in exersize everyday.

    Monday I worked 2 1/2 hours of over time and then 1 tuesday short of workers so I did the work of two others and mine so that counts for those 2 days.

    Since then I have done nothing but what I have to do around the house.

    I need to get a good regimin and stick to it everyday.

  4. I eat corn occasionally and have not had a problem with it . I have ate it without problem when other foods would not go down.I do tend to avoid it now because my band is really tight. I would enjoy it while I could!!

    Also if you eat protien first then have the corn your band is not going to let you eat enough to spoil your weight loss. Just remember all foods are better for you if they came from the earth and not man made.

    corn = chew-chew-chew-chew you will be O.K

  5. I have lost about 98lbs and have lots of sagging in the belly. I have a big issue with it but it bothers me more than my husband. I have bought some lingerie to hide mine. They are really visual so masking the problem areas may help!

  6. I am not pregnant but not takeing any birth controll. I want one more and am 36. I have not reached goal weight and figure it will be another year before I do. I stopped the Depo shots in Nov. The last time I did it took 13mo before we concieved so I figure I will be pretty close to goal before I concieve.

    I have started takeing prenatal vitimins for nutritional replacement and Iron supplements occasionally.

    I know we all need folic acid when pregnant and before conception.

  7. I have seen a similar post in another area on this same question. My thoughts are thaty a complete unfill would definately be like starting over again, but I had a really bad expierence on a vaction because I was really tight and not paying to much attention to Water intake led to my band tightening even more. I spent all but last day of my vaction on liquids. So for me the next time I go on a long trip I will be getting a small unfill.

  8. Like the above post says they dont really check every detail at firsr. The insurance handler at my surgons office also said if you don't have enough medical proof you can use pictures of yourself over the years most are dated on the paper backing. Work I.D s' Old drivers licence if he kept those. Chances are they wont check into it to much if he really is needing the surgery but its better to send it all in so you have less to worry about.

  9. You should never be ashamed to be getting help to better your life. I wish I had known I had this option before I was 35. I had my kids at the weight you are starting out at and its really hard carring a baby at over 300lbs then trying to keep up with them when you have 2 is almost impossible.

    You should be proud that you are doing something to make your life longer and more enjoyable while your young and can really spend the rest of your time thinner and having lots more fun.

  10. I didn't really get dizzy but really shakey in my lower back and legs. I made sure to add apple juice and orange juice to my diet it really helped in the liquid stage. I only had to do 2 weeks. That may have been some help to avoid the dizzy spells. Dr moved me on to mushies early because I was tolerating so well.CallDr and ask you may be able to move on to other foods sooner.
