I have been and am on WW. I hope to be banded next week (waiting today for one test result) and I plan to continue on WW. I think that the two can be totally worked together. My leader knows about the surgery and was very supportive. It's none of anyone else's business how we lose the weight. If they are that ignorant, then just ignore them. It's their loss. Good luck with WW and keep me posted. Kim

:musical_note:Hi I'm from Brockton and I am being banded at BI on March 31st with Dr. Schneider. That is assuming the one last test I have this Tuesday comes out OK. Keep me posted on how you are doing. Kim

Me too for the 31st as long as the last test on Tues is OK. Boston at 1 pm and I'm 54.
:thumbup:I've been catheritized (sp?) a couple of times and it actually makes it much EASIER after surgery so you don't have to get out of bed to pee. Kim

Good luck. Mine is scheduled for March 31st at 1 pm Boston time. However I have one more test on the 23rd and unless that one is OK I won't be able to have lapband at all. That would leave bypass or sleeve for me, which are definately NOT my first choice. Keep your fingers crossed. Kim:confused:

Hi I found out this afternoon that I am not a candidate for lap band because I have an asymtomatic esophageal motility (swallowing) problem so I won't be banded next week. I am upset because my option now is bypass which I didn't want but I can't go on this way with my weight. Kim
