  15. completely normal. if you are on solids up the SOLID Protein (chicken breast, lean beef, etc.) if you are on liquids/mushies you can still up the protein with shakes, etc... you are in what's called "bandster hell"... it's not fun, but you can survive it. are you drinking 8+ glasses of Water a day? that will help as well. good luck on your fills.

  17. gas, iv fluids, you name it. my advice - dont get on the scale the first few weeks. you'll more than likely be pleasantly surprised at your post op visit! congrats on being banded.
  18. well, any kind of PB/throwing up is not good for the band... i've thrown up a few times with my morning sickness and it HURT. i found it easier to stand up straight and then bend at the waist... i was also advised the same as a PB. you throw up, go on liquids for at least 12-24 hours. good luck and happy travels!

  20. ok, maybe it's the preggo hormones in overdrive but i received the following email from my sister: ---------------- I am sending out invitations tomorrow, but b/c i am behind, as usual, just wanted to give you a heads up on the date: **** Aug ****. **pm ******** in ****** ******* is registered at Toys R Us .com just search his name. Like i said, i am hoping i get a lunch tomorrow and can get them out!! ------------------ this went to our entire extended family and friends (had probably 25-30 recipients...) WTF????? i've never heard of this. i mean yeah, he's my Godson so duh, i'm going to get him something, but everything on his list is $50+ !! i dont even know where to begin to respond to her email.
