Either the band or me is not working! :(
odizzydori gave excellent advice. my thoughts are get rid of the sweets. if you want sweet, go for grapes, plums, etc... i also think doing some mild exercising to start will help kick start things. good luck.

coupla questions... again!!!!
hi, most people need more than 1 or 2 fills to get pretty good restriction. i know i am tighter in the morning than any other time (usually liquids only in the AM). if you find yourself not losing like you would like (2 pounds a week average), maybe schedule another fill. good luck!

Tell Me What Am I Missing Here?
what? i'm sorry but if we could 'exercise some control', we wouldnt really need the band in the first place. everyone is different and has different needs. my suggestion, be firm with the doctor and tell him you need another fill. if he flat out refuses, maybe find another fill doc or someone else to do your fills (there are companies out there). good luck.

Question on reaching your sweet spot.
hi, my restriction fluctuates GREATLY throughout the day. mornings i am the tightest and in the evenings i can mostly eat about 2/3 of a chicken breast and a few bites of veggies. also, before pregnancy, i was very tight a few days before my period. good luck!
-
Has anyone else been told this?
i started at 5'9" and 402.5.. i've lost 160 so far (now pregnant)... i dont agree with the doctor. if you put your mind to it, you can do it. (fyi - i exercised 6-9 times a week when i lost the most) good luck

Banded in DFW Metroplex area, some issues
sorry you are having so many issues. i, too, had my surgery by Dr. Marsden, but i get my fills in Hurst. have you contacted the business manager for the Richardson office? IMO, what you are going through is totally uncalled for and needs to be addressed. best of luck to you.

have you tried chicken broth? that would help solve the 'sweet' problem and it should have some protein. try to look for low sodium.
