  1. YUMMIE!!! here kitty, kitty.....
  2. ok, TG... i was just gut wacked... not supposed to laugh and you are NOT helping ... if you cant search for yourself, i'm not going to help ... :crying: sounds like a good anniv. to me - even without the tickler..
  3. what you didnt use one on your anniversary? for shame!!! (how was your anniv?)
  4. only if you have a tummy tuck first ... :crying: and trust me, dont think you'd really want them, they taste like cat arse. not that i've actually tasted a cat's arse...
  5. congrats on the pregnancy!!! how is your fill level? what does your OB / band doc say about a slight unfill if you cant really eat much? (i have no idea what the rule of thumb is for fills and preggers ... i cant seem to carry ... yet...)
  6. welcome to LBT and good luck! :crying: my advice, read this board - phenominal information here!!
  7. found 2 pics, they are posted on my blog. they look REALLY nasty (4 & 6 days post op) but it will give you an idea for placement. Losing Jusme: belly button on a zipper scar my zipper used to be pretty straight, now its just kinda curved a little bit.
  8. im obviously not Dr. JLo, but I just had an extended TT and have a 'zipper' scar from a gall bladder out. i'll see if i have a pic of my (really new/gross looking) belly button and will post it on my blog.
  9. seriously folks... if you are in the DFW area (or even not and wouldnt mind traveling)... i LOVE my doctor. at first i thought he was kinda pompous, but now that i've gotten to know him better, he's just kinda quirky and confident ... you want that in a PS. he was a tad higher in price than the other 2 consults i went on, but the other 2 were for panniculectomies and not TTs... so im pretty sure that could be the difference.
  10. NO DRAINS FOR ME!!!! that's one main reason i went with my surgeon. he uses progressive tension sutures (see his website North Dallas Plastic Surgery: Cosmetic Surgery in Dallas and Plano, TX for details) and another great part of the progressive tensions, no bending/leaning over. i was 98% upright the day of surgery. love love love love my doctor!!! i know i posted somewhere else tonight that im a very ummm, annoyed-type, person.... meaning it doesnt take much to tick me off and i think i would have hung myself from the drains after a few hours. even the pain pump was a tad too much...
  11. just copy the link from your browser and paste it in the reply box. i'll search for him as well. good luck tomorrow!
  12. woooo hooooo ... the thread is back! why didnt i see this when i was all doped up and could blame the meds for my postings ... ????
  13. oh good gracious im paying for being active today... posted pics on my blog and MMH of swelling (warning - blacked out nudity)
  14. oh good gracious im paying for being active today... posted pics on my blog and MMH of swelling (warning - blacked out nudity) karey - im too pooped to demonstrate the knee ... will try tomorrow. really sorry.
  15. Karey, you look fabulous (and flat!! - errrr not your chest ) i thank god everyday for Dr Pollock and no drains.. i think i would have wanted to hang myself with them after a couple of hours!!! i was about to rip my pain pump out after a day...
  16. Neal, sorry you need a revision so soon, did doc mention recovery time? Karey, i'll see if DH can take some illustration pics to help describe what im talking about. it gets better... really  Marypetunia, yay .. i'll be thinking of you tomorrow. youre the last of the bunch! what time are you going in? i way overdid it today. very sore, extremely swollen, so much that the jeans that fit this morning with a little room in the waist were TIGHT when i got home.. and they are stretchy.
  17. i HOPE they fall off soon, they were huge in the waist before surgery, but 'fit' in the hip area cause of my tummy.. yeah huge in thighs too.. I love losing weight and inches!!!!!! karey, it will get better, remember you had more done than I did and I thank everyone who will listen that I didnt get the girls done at the same time... I can't imagine trying to get up with bad arms and bad abs!! youch, but I'm a real wimp.. take it easy, dont push yourself (like I did today- youch!!) we've got 1 more to go, then we're ALL DONE, can you guys believe it!!??
  18. astonishing!!! you look great, even in swell hell!!
  19. thinking of you today. hope things are easier for you.
  20. chickie, just found this thread (been a tad out of sorts lately...) congrats on 3 years... you look glamorous in that gold dress!! beautiful!
  21. oh dear... yeah, i bought waayyyyyyyy to much. WAY too much.. if you have a consignment shop near you, they are usually good. i went to the Avenue primarily. signed up for their email lists and they used to do a TON of coupons x% off things even on sale... saved tons that way. good luck and congrats on your loss!!
  22. lise, dont worry about it. i know thats easier said than done, but really. your body has gone through trauma (surgery) and doesnt know what is going on. it is more than likely retaining the Water you are consuming. just KEEP DRINKING. also ... this phase is not for weight loss, its for healing. take care of your body, concentrate on getting all your liquids in and maybe dont even step on the scale for several days, it can really discourage you if its going in the wrong way. take time to heal, weight loss will come once you are properly restricted.
  23. hi guys... thanks for your thoughts. things went really well. lots of info in the PS threads (29Feb) and my blog. just too much to type - and ummm, cant remember it all
  24. it may be less ... my memory is kinda 'fuzzy' right now ... maybe 10 days??? thank you.
