Keep up the good work. Tip for sleeping... Maybe try sleeping a little elevated. It helped me alot with the gas and tenderness. Good Luck

Hey good for you!! may i ask why they kept you in the hospital? i know i'm old school and wanted to stay there for a week! lol when they told me i'd be home the same day i was like..WHA???

Thanks! I had to stay overnite in the hospital because my surgeon chooses to do that to make sure everything is ok. And it was. He did surgery at 9am. I went to my room at 1130 am and the next morning I had a swallow study at 7am to make sure the band wasnt leaking. Then I was able to start clear liquids. I went home around 3pm that day. :-)
