I have been up and down with my weight for most of my life never have I been as big as I am now however!  I have 2 beautifull girls and when I became pregnant with my first one i found out I had a Thyroid disorder and since I have gained weight and have tried several times to loose weight and have never had any sucess!  Being over weight changes alot within a person you lack confidence and you get where you rather stay home than socialize with people!  I was getting depressed and was at that point and my health was going down I had high blood pressure, anxiety, sleep abnea and borderline diabetic.  I knew it was time to take control of my life again and do something about the weight I have a beautiful family and I want to be around to see grandkids, so I did alot of research and talked to alot of people who had weight loss surgery.  I spoke to people who has both the Bypass and the Lap Band and I just was more comfortable with the Lap Band because it was removable if I were to have any problems.I had the Band put in on December 17, 2009 and I have lost 34 pounds so far and I am off of my Blood pressure meds and my blood sugar is in the normal range already!  I love the Band my only regret is that I did not have it done sooner!!!
