    Ahhhhhhhhhh

    Well This is my third passover with the band. My first i was on mushies, the second and third was no big deal. I only eat a small bit of matzoh. I dont eat bread so staying away from matzoh isn't to hard for me. I eat some matzoh meal in stuff tho. I eat like i eat normally. I also don't eat rice or pasta so passover isnt so bad. The seders are rough cause of the drinking and eating so i just don't eat and drink together. If i drink wine its a sip. Wendy

  4. I agree with coco. I told only a few people. People talk about wls as the easy way out all the time. Well i stopped listening cause the only way you can think of it as easy is if your ignorant. I just keep looking down at my clothes and see how much better i look and feel and realize it was the right decision for me. Honestly I haven't worked harder in my weight lose ever They just don't get it. Your choice is to either educate them with documentation or decide you know best for your body and are happy with your choice and then ignore them. Keep your head help high Good luck Wendy

  7. hi, I dd not get on the scale but my friend did and she gained 14 lbs the next day. I thought she'd die. It is fluid and your body trying to adjust to things.Not everyone loses at first. Please do not freak. You will lose the 3 and more just stick to the rules and it will come off. My friend and i both had 3cc.in when it was placed in. This will not provide restriction yet. Keep drinking and walking. Good Luck Wendy
  8. hi, Don't freak out. First of all everyone is different. Most of us get tighter around tom. Second our bands are fickle. One time we can eat something next time maybe not.It may be to dry didnt chew as well as you thought or to big a bite. Our body fluctuates with water. We go up and down. Hope this helped. Wendy

    Sorry he is against it. I did not tell everyone but I don't think i could have done this without my husband knowing. May reasons but one being how do you have surgery without him knowng youl need help at the beginning and cant drive home etc. wendy

    Mushie Food.... ??

    hummus has a lot of protein. smooth peanut butter you can have chicken if you put it in the bullet/blender/ food processor. they also have chicken in a can. i put everything in the magic bullet and made it mushie. Good luck wendy

  15. I agree with Kathy. When the scale gets stuck and i measure i see how far i have come. I too look in the mirror and dont see the new me. I know my sizes i wear are smaller but the measurements dont lie!! Don't look it like look how big i was but look how far i have come! Good luck wendy
  16. fish hummus lamb just cut it small chew chew chew concentrate on what your eating. one thing i do at all times no matter what part of journey i am on is i ask for a take a way container and take half off my plate immediatly. If anyone asks just say you are trying to to eat less. Or your not very hungry today. Then change subject cause everyone likes to talk about themselves so they will let you change the subject.     Buh Bye....

    It is important to practice eating slowly and chewing a lot. Cut your meals into small pieces. Also an important thing to practice is no drinking with meals. My doc says 30 min between drinking and eating then 60 min after eating before drinking. Good luck wendy
  20. walking i was on elliptical after two or three weeks but Zumba I would guess you need to wait ask Doc. I know i had to wait 4-6 weeks to do weights wendy
