  3. Soda- it's not you can't you shoudn't it can reek havic on the band. Just because you can eat a lot doesn't mean you should. Don't mean to be to harsh but to me this is the hardest thing i have ever done. You need to follow all of the rules. You have really not been doing this too long and it takes a while till you hit the green zone. You do not need to feel full just satisfied. If you chew chew chew and adhere to the 20-30 min rule you may feel satisfied. Don't give up the band is a tool not magic you need to work it. Good luck Wendy

    Weights and toning exercises

    my dr said light exercise for 6 weeks. I walked immediatly and did treadmill after 2 weeks waited 6 to do elliptical wendy

  9. It maybe how you are looking at it. Just because your 21 doesn't mean your life is defined by eating and drinking. You can drink water or ice tea. there are also many more options in eating these days. You can also suggest other activities to do. You you go out drinking look for places that have dancing too. Can't eat and dace at the same time. If they don't understand explain to them this is your new lifestyle and to stay healthy you need to change the routine a bit. Wendy
  10. When my daughter was like 11 she put on a lot of weight. The dr said don't mention it to her just start slowly changing the snacks and food choices. To this day she is a skinny thing at 21. Your mom will have to do it too that will be the hardest. wendy

    Don't worry about why you need to just do it. Go exercise anyway and start to journal to see what works or not. Change up you food choices and that may help. Experiment with new recipes wendy

    So sad

    I think everyone is different. I thought about wls and like you did it one more time but gave myself a cut off date. I ended up obviously getting the surgery. Up to the last moment i was questioning myself. I have to tell you almost three yrs later,few issues, not at goal yet it was the best decision i made for myself. It isn't easy and you need to follow the rules. It is a commitment and the hardest thing i have done for myself. For me it was well worth it. Good luck what ever you decide.
