you are right . i shouldnt make jokes. its just i get tired of people assuming i go to him because he is hot and charming. im very pretty and i have people tell me everyday that im beautiful, i dont think i have a low self esteem, yes i do like that dr. huacuz is a flirt. he is almost as bad as me. i enjoy to laugh with him and i flirt terrible with him and his driver and the hotel bell boy and almost all the gorgeous men in tj. i cant help myself , but, i think you have every right to tell people what you know. i can only say what i know from my experiences . i think dr.huacuz is funny and likes to make women feel good about themselves. but underneath that he is a very commited doctor. i hope that the things you say never happen again.

to tell you the truth i dont know where doctor huacuz learned how to do plastic surgery. i just know that i like what i have seen him do and i trusted him to do mine. i cant explain why people like him so much, you would just have to know him to understand.

dr huacuz just did my arms january 26th. he did a great job. they look good. the nurses i work with all say that the incisions are clean and healing very well. they say my arms look good. im pleased that i did not have much pain and that im able to ride my horse again. i dont think my arms will have bad scars. im so glad i had them done. i was nervous about it. but, it all went well.

i just had surgery with doctor huacuz. it went great , as always. my arms look good and are already healed enough for me to ride my horse. i felt very little pain . he did a great job. i had my eyes done too. i look great. a little uncomfortable for a while but not too bad. i have no complaints. i was well taken care of.

hi queenie. i love dr. huacuz and all his staff. great people. i think all three that you are considering are good. but, im all for dr.huacuz since he has been my doctor for over 2 years.. he did my lapband . he does all my fills. he has done surgery on my shoulder. i just went down last weekend and had my upper and lower eyes done and they also took fat out of my cheeks. looks so good. dr.huacuz also did and my arms. i am so pleased. ive had very little pain or discomfort. im taking antibiotics for 15days. dr. huacuz has his own private hospital . it is so nice and it is new . it is super clean and his wife did all the decorating. she has great taste. it is very warm and cozy. all the rooms are private with your own big shower . nice...... dr. huacuz is great about making sure you dont get sick from the anesthesia or pain . i never have had any problems. the doctor spends a lot of time with you before and after the surgery. he is so nice. everyone i know that has been to him totally loves him. he has the best price too. thats why i went in the first place. but, i lucked out.... i think you should call and talk to him. he takes your call and will speak to you personally. he also calls you after you are home and checks on you. good luck with your decision. if you have questions you can pm me. ive lost over 100 lbs. everyone says dr.huacuz is a total hottie , but i say he is a very caring and talented surgeon.. im so lucky to have him as my doctor.

wow that is so strange. i dont know what is wrong with you , but i dont think the doctor is trying hard enough to solve the problem. i know that i dont eat much and i follow the rules , and i lose slower than many. but, my doctor doesnt accuse me of lying. that is totally unexceptable..... i hope you find a new doc and get it figured out. can you let us know.

I had my band done by dr.daniel huacuz. i know he is an excellent doctor. he also did surgery on my shoulder last year, and last weekend i had plastic surgery on my arms and my face. im very pleased with the results. as always the care is so outstanding. he has a private clinic with cozy rooms and private nurses. you never feel alone. he spends a lot of time with each patient and provides you with follow up care. i go back to have my stiches out in 3 weeks. ill get my fill then too. i know there are many good doctors in mexico , but i cant imagine getting better care than i do with dr. huacuz....... i want to see the oprah special. that will be interesting. one of the ladies i work with had her band done by dr.ortiz and now it is eroded. she goes back to have it removed.... i hope they give her a discount or a free replacement.......... that would be really good for doctors to replace the bands if they erode...i just hope i never have that problem. i think you should call and talk to the different doctors and see how you feel. i tell all my friends to go to my doctor since i think he is safe and caring, but everyone still needs to decide for themselves. good luck..........

i just had an arm lift and my upper/lower eyes done in tijuana. price was very good. my eyes are sore but looking very good. my arms dont hurt at all and have very thin line of stitches. i dont think my scar will be a big deal. im surprised my arms dont hurt. i thought they would be the worst. if you want the info on my doctor i can give it to you. it was a great experience. i was nervous and now im relieved. catzintj

wow good posts. i enjoyed reading all you have to say. I attended ACOA years ago. it was very helpful and good to see that i was not alone in some of my confusion.. my dad has been a recovering alcoholic for 28 years.... he stopped drinking when i was very young , I never witnessed him drinking. but the absence from the home was hard on my mother and all 5 children. fortunately my father got me involved in his recovery. my parents divorced and that is a scar that never healed. the exposure to AA and my fathers recovery was wonderful. my father and i are really close and the program helped my father to grow and become a wise man. i have learned a lot from my dad and his wisdom. he helps many people and is a blessing. i learned one important thing about myself. that is that im terrible at commitment. this is due to the divorce and unstable environment i was raised in. i always feel like if i get too close i will get hurt , that it is going to end eventually. everytime i had a fight with a boyfriend id break up and move away. extreme stuff that was unhealthy. i still struggle with chaos. sometimes we are comfortable with the chaos we were raised in and even though i recognize that it is unhealthy and i dont want to live that way, its like sub consciously i consider it normal. i enjoyed the meetings. i think it is wise if alcoholics get the whole family involved in the recovery, if possible. i understand the fear that you may feel, but i think the family can get help and learn even if you slip up and take a drink. i recommend surrounding oneself with people who have many years of recovery .

I do not feel the band around my stomach. i can feel my port if i push on it with my fingers. sometimes when running i feel a small tug on the port or tubing. no pain or discomfort.

i think for me the hardest part about being single with the band is the dating aspect. i date, therefore i go to dinner , movie etc.... i try to do more things like hiking and outdoor activities on dates. but guys always want to go out to eat. but i have a hard time to eat much or many times excuse my self to go to ladies room and pb. yuck. so i try to avoid dinner dates. but i like going to dinner, its so relaxing..... anyone else have that trouble

hi. im going to have my arms done by dr. huacuz this weekend. i know he has done many tummy tucks. im going to have a tummy tuck this summer , if i need it.. he is very safe , you will do fine. when are you having your tummy tuck? good luck

fill center usa has an office in vegas. i cant remember the doctors name. nice guy. does fill in office. no floro . i never had fill by him, but i had an unfill once. i do fill by floro in tijuana with my surgeon. but if you are looking for fill without the floro you can try fill centers.... good luck.

hi bert99, i was feeling the same way before my surgery. i never thought that id be thin and healthy again. but, its been two years and im down 120 and feel great. the band forced me to change my eating habits and behavior.... i eat so little now. soup and salad is my main diet. i assume you will go through the same stages as most of us...... it takes time but it will happen. hang it there and im glad you are able to have this done. some people cant afford it.. so good luck. keep us posted.

I SAY GIVE EM TIME. how many will keep it off. im happy for them and i applaude there efforts. i too worked hard , but i was not successful. im just glad i have my band. i dont care what anyone else thinks......

i tell all my family that if they have a real emergency and need to be seen right away , the golden words are SHORTNESS OF BREATH. gets you in fast........ ok, dont abuse it.........

anthony, i cant comment on the oral sex, but i do know for a fact that the horseback riding has not caused me any trouble. i ride 4-5 days a week. i jump and do cross-country. i have no troubles .... have a great time.......

my er doc says pancreatisis. told me not too eat for a few days. great! i just had some fill taken out because i couldnt eat for like a week. so now i have to STILL not eat.. im supposed to drink tea. in a few days have toast and bananas. i dont eat toast or bananas.......... oh well.

last few nights i had severe pain in my left side. i have had it before but thought it was due to a broken rib. but now i have the pain and sick to my stomach. so i ran my blood work and i have a very high lipase . my amylase is normal. so im thinking, pancreatic or gallbladder. my mom died young from pancreatic cancer. so i think maybe i should get checked. maybe i should get my gallbladder out. i also can feel the pain in my back on the left side also. what does if feel like if you have stones. i didnt eat today since i didnt want pain. so tonite it is not so bad. no stomach ache , just sore and tender......... any advice from someone whos been there and done that???? thanks.
