I stay around 850-950 depending on the day. I do up it a bit if I ran that day too.

4 months tomorrow since had the band! Have question...
Congrats on the 41lbs! That's amazing I had my surgery just a few days after you and I'm down 36lbs total. I know exactly how you feel regarding restriction. I have just under 4.5cc's in my band now and I do not feel any restriction. I actually get sick at times because of my hungry because I am eating small portions and stopping myself (before I even get full) to keep with the weight loss. I'm doing about 3x a week a the gym and 2x at night with DVD's. I am continuing to lose, but am afraid when I go in next week for my fill, they won't give me a larger one. My office is very conservative and have only been giving me .50cc's at a time. GOOD LUCk with your fill and keep it up, you're doing great.

Weight Loss Charm Bracelet :)
Congrats on the 20lbs! I'm actually doing the same thing I just got my 3rd charm and looking forward to my 4th. Keep up the great work!

Regular clothes?
I did not have any problems. The 1st few days, I wore my yoga pants as I was home for a week after surgery.

August Rush in bandland!
I feel like I'm a slower loser than others that had their surgery in August. I just hit my 31lb mark yesterday when I went in. I had my 5th fill and am now at 4.5cc's. I had 1/2 cup of tomato soup yesterday at 12:30 and wasn't hungry again until almost 4:00, so that was a huge jump for me. I'm hoping 1 more fill to put me at 5cc's I will feel good restriction. Kept up the good work everyone!

i must have lost my mind!

How long in banster hell?
I've had 4 fills since my 8/3 surgery (every 2 weeks) and I am still having little to no restriction. At this point, I m eating very small portions and dealing with the hungry and have been doing so since August. Those that were in banster hell, how long did it take you to get to your sweet spot? I have my 5th fill this coming week and I'm hoping I get more than .50cc, which is what I've been getting. I know my PA is going slow to get to where I need to be, but I'm really hungry all the time an I don't know how much longer I can keep this up.

I'm eating everything in sight....
I'm sorry you are dealing with this . I'm a in bandster hell and have been for some time now. I stop myself after eating small amounts of food and deal with it until my next meal. I am trying very, very hard not to go off track and to stay focused. And for what it's worth, I've had 4 fills so far and and I'm only up to 4.5 cc's. I know I need more restriction, but I'm following my doctor's guidelines on going slowly. GOOD LUCK, I hope the next fill hits the "sweet spot" for you.

Not drinking while eating
This is pretty tough for me to do. I never drink while I eat, but I find that I do not get enough liquid in on a daily basis because of it. I need to try to get in more water...

Sliders
Well, I've only gone out to eat maybe 5x since being banded, which was on Aug. 3rd. I've only PB'd twice, once and home and once at work. Both completely my fault and could have been avoided. I can't image why you can't go out to dinner and not have a problem PBing all the time. I really don't think that's the case. You just have to be careful about chewing and taking very small bites. All the stuff you know you need to do. Anyway, the PB I've experienced has been pressure/pain in the chest and then the food giving me the got to get to the bathroom feeling, however, it wasn't to the point where I had to run. I actually just leaned over the toilet and the slime came right out and the feeling went away.

Couch to 5K ?
On the treadmill, I'm walking at a 3.7 and running at a 4.7 - 5.0 depending on how my knee is holding up.

Couch to 5K ?
The 1st day was really hard for me as well, by the 3rd day, I felt good doing the week 1's run. I'm technically on week 6 now, but I've been running on my own a lot and I'm running up to 13 minutes without stopping. I'm up to about 2.2 miles of running / interval walking. It's taking me about 30 minutes to do 2.2 miles, so I need to keep pushing myself to get a quicker mile. GOOD LUCK, and keep it up!

August Rush in bandland!
Is anyone else still experiencing issues with gas? I'm about 2 1/2 months out and the gas pressure/pain that I feel is starting to become almost daily. I literally have to get up and walk around and "toot" as much as possible to help elevate any of the pressure. I've tried the Gas-X strips with no help. I'm wondering if anyone else is going through this and if there is anything that helps?

So what exactly DOES good restriction feel like?
This is a great question - I've had 3 fills so far and I honestly have no idea. I'm continuing to lose weight, however, I'm really strict with how much food I'm taking in and will stop because I know I shouldn't be eating more than what I do.

August Rush in bandland!
Going in for my 3rd fill today! I am hoping to get the restriction at this point. I have 3 cc's in my band now, and I "hope" I get 2 more. I do not have much restriction at all and I'm hungry all the time. I am really watching what I am eating and I eat small portions, even though I am getting full. I have been working out 3x a week at least and walking as much as possible. I was nervous at my last fill because I had dropped 6 lbs and I thought they were not going to give me a fill. My doctor's office is not like that. She said, are you still hungry, then you get a fill. I am HOPING to get to my sweet spot after today's fill and start really seeing some results! Best of luck to everyone!

August Rush in bandland!
Awesome, I'm jealous! I have 3cc's now, 2 my 1st fill and 1 my 2nd. I go in on Oct. 5th for my 3rd fill. I'm hoping I get 2 more - I do not believe I feel any restriction. I do get full faster, but I have to stop myself from eating opposed to the other way around. Best of luck! Hopefully we can get there soon

Fill question
I would give it another day to see if you are still having problems and then contact your doctor. Also, does your dr. give you restriction after fills? I have to go back to full liquids for 2 days then mushies before I can introduce "regular" foods again.

What's for Breakfast?
I eat 1 packet of regular instant cream, cook it with milk and then add 1 teaspoon of honey and 1/2 a banana cut up.

Gurgling Feeling?
I had my 2nd fill today - an additional 1cc, so I'm totally 3cc's in a 10cc band. I just drank some water, it went down fine, but it feel like it was gurgling in my stomach? Has anyone else experienced this? Is this normal?

Couch to 5K ?
I am finishing my Week 2 Day 3 tomorrow and moving onto Week 3. I can not believe how well I am doing in this program! I do feel like I could run more than the alloted time, but I am trying to stay strict with the program. I can not wait until I complete my 1st 5K! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

My 1st fill tomorrow!!
I just got back. When well, it did feel weird I have to say, and she did not numb the area at all. Took a minute for her to find the middle of the port. She pulled out some air and then put in 2cc's. Water went down fine and was told to do full-liquid for 2 days, 1 day of mushys and then good to go.

Had my first fill today!!!
Congrats on your fill! I had mine today too. She took out some air that was in my band 1st and then put in 2cc's today. I go back in 2 weeks for an additional 1 - 2 cc's depending on how I do. Here's to a new us!
