sorry,been mia ...i am o.k but my son has been unwellin hospital , hopefully he will be home at the end of the weekbut will stay with us for a couple of weeks to get back on his feet..i am off to the doctors later today , had a blood test and want toget the results to see if they have improved, its been 6monthsnow since i was banded, so hopefully it will show up withgood results.............i hope everyone is having a great week............byje marion.................

Don`t beat yourself up ..this is all new to us and I am sure many of us fall off the wagon from time to time ..

Forget it and move forward ..CONGRATULATIONS on your loss so far...Hang in and if in doubt ring your dietitian/surgeon and go have a chat with them

As you can see by my siggy (weight loss ticker) I was banded on 24th Feb 2010..I decided I was not going to be obese for my next birthday..

The week once again is flying by Hump day tomorrow and I am off to have stage 2 of my root canal work done before I get groceries...:thumbup::thumbdown:Not to keen on dentist..

Well off to change my ticker lost another kilo so have gone passed my halfway mark now ..whoo !!!! I am so loving loosing weight I wished I had been banded sooner....:thumbup:

I was given a shot in the belly to prevent clotting and had to wear sexy white sox for 3 weeks after the surgery ...

I was driving 5 days after banding no problems ....

Well we had a early start to the day with a trip to my sons to Celebrate our youngest grand-daughters 3rd Birthday ..it was a nice day and I just wanted to share some photo`s before heading to bed ..Sleep in tomorrow Love my Sundays ...

I have a video clip of us singing Happy Birthday but it takes a while to up load..

Unfortunately the one I have of Madelyn was LOST when my computer crashed I hadn`t loaded it to Photobucket...and I had deleted it from my computer..

Hi !! and good luck on your decision..I have not looked back and wished I had done it sooner...

I would say take 2 weeks off and don`t do any lifting for at least 3 weeks ..I found I spent the first week sleeping a lot , I guess it depends on your work but don`t rush back and expect to be able to do all the physical things straight away , give your stitces (inside) time to heal...I got hubby to carry the groceries for me for 3 weeks no way did I want to bust any stitches and have to be re done...

I have had NO problems at all its been a breeze.

Yeah !! some of the dietitians were really negative on the banding ..I left a possitive comment I hope it shows up ......

I am confident too and so far so good I have never been happier...

Back home and really happy lost 2 kilos in two weeks ..its been 4 months since my banding and I have averaged 5 kilos a month

My clothes are all loose and baggy and its feels GREATtttttttttttttttt...Don`t want to buy too much so wear the baggy stuff most of the time have a few smaller items for outings..

I got a .7 mil fill because I told them I didn`t notice the .4 mil fill last time at all ..I now have 4.3mils and the dietitian assurres me it will SLOW DOWN my eating as thats my problem eating too fast ..(The bands max fill is 7mls)..

I am on soft foods for 24hours so will have a yogurt now (late lunch ) and eggs for dinner..then my normal porridge for breakie ...

Yeah !!!!

I finally did it 99kilos....UNDER THE 100 kilo mark...

Probably not eating all yesterday due to my aching tooth...( saw the dentist yesterday no cavity but infected tooth on antibiotics next week getting root canal done) well it was worth it to break that barrier..and I am NOT going above it ever again...

The last fill I had hasn`t made any difference it was just .4 bringing my fill to 3.6 I would say they will put .4 in again Friday week and bring me up to 4mls (7mils being the top amount of fill in a 10mil Hage Band...) the doctor said most people find their sweet spot betweem 4 and 5 mils....fingers crossed mine is not far off....

Gotta go off to change my ticker line.... whoo !!!!!

Mmmmmmmmmmm well I ws happy with the set The Book and DVD alone are well worth the money very informative , and I do love the plate...

Also the $55.00 is Australian Dollars so I would think in UD $`s it would be about $38.00 also the plate and bowl can be bought seperatly or with out the Book..for a lot less...

I wish my Surgeon or Dietition would have handed them out free.. Lucky you Pickles.. :cursing:
