Hi All...I was banded June 8th. I had some severe swelling issues day 3&4, which had subsided now. Aside from that I definitely feel restriction. My stomach is growling and churning and yelling at me (lol) but due to the restriction I feel I can't get enough food down to ease it! I'm also bloating as the day wears on...my tummy is relatively (ha) flat in the morning but by late afternoon I look pergnant, and the belly if firm. Are these 2 issues considered part of Bandster Hell or should I call my doctor? I have my first post op appointment on Tuesday 6/22. Thanks for any info you veterans out there can share! I really appreciate it!

the samething happened to me I was very uncomfortable I had to be hopitalized behind the swelling but I am three months out and feeling great check out my blog... yea ma'am you will go thru alot of trial and error but that apart of learning what you have done.

Hi I am also getting my band on the 24th. Kind of nervous but just want to be on the other side.

dont be nervous because you will be so happy at them ending results and girl I dont regret a minute of it check out my blog...

Just banded on the 9th became super sick with nausea and no appetite whatsoever nothing taste good and nothing smells good and when I try to eat I may get two or three bites in and that's a wrap so on my post-op doctors visit on yesterday I was 12 lbs down in 6days now that I can live with. Do I miss food not really I thought that it would be difficult for me I think I miss drinking more. If you have any questions ask me. Thank you!

No, nobody knows about mines but my mom and a friend of mines who did the bypass so I know what you mean it will come out when you ready for it too

So I am going through the approval process right now with my insurance company for the LAP-BAND® surgery, and I haven't told many people at all..is that strange? The only people that know is my husband and a couple close friends. My husband keeps asking me why I don't want to tell anyone that I am having this surgery, and it's hard to explain why. I guess I'm just fearful to hear people's negativity. I just wanted to see if others feel this same way?:scared2:
