  1. To see if you have broken your pouch or if your pouch still works. http://www.5daypouchtest.com/
  2. That was strange lol Anyway Breakfast: 1 Special K chocolate shake Snack: 1 Special K Chocolate Shake (was 30 min prior to going to exercise) lunch 1 Campbells Creamy Tomato Parmesan Bisque and so far so good. It's 3:50 and I am just a little hungry. I have had Crystal Light Tea and Fruit punch and getting ready to fix another bottle of Water for the ride home. I did have 3 cups of coffee with sweet and low and vanilla caramel creamer, not sure if that is allowed but didn't really think about it until after I drank it. Here's hoping to get back on track : ) Hope everyone has a great afternoon.

  8. Thank you. I looked up the 5 day pouch test and I am going to try it. Hopefully this will put me back in the direction I need to be.
  9. Thank you all for the advice. I am going to start keeping track of everything.
  10. Thank you. I will try that. I don't have a smart phone, but looking to get one soon.
  11. I was banded on 4/7/10 and have lost 30/35 pounds post op. However, I have not lost any weight since then. Matter of fact, on my last visit 2/17/11 for a fill I gained 4 pounds from last visit which was in Nov. I have 7.5cc's in a 10cc band. I don't know what to do. I was wondering if I should follow the weight watchers plan or just count calories. If I count calories, how do I know how many calories I should be eating? Kinda stuck on what I should be eating and how much. I am starting to feel like a failure and I really want to turn this around and make it work. I have NEVER had any stuck issues or throwing up issues and I haven't even had any of the foamy issues that I have read about. At dinner, I eat until I get that feeling - oh man I can't eat another bite. How would I know if I stretched out the pouch above the band. Thanks for listening
  12. why? I haven't had ANY trouble - knock on wood.
  13. I can't answer your question - but I want to say congratulations on your success so far. I was banded on 4/7 as well and I won't get my first fill until 5/28. I am not having much luck losing right now. I have only lost 18 pounds and that was during the first 2 weeks. I sure what like to know what you are doing and what you are eating. Keep up the great work.
  14. I am sorry, but I can't switch you. I live in Mechanicsville, MD and that is over an hour away. Where do you live? I am going to call and confirm my appt and see what they say.
  15. I go to the office in Woodbridge, VA. Dr. Mahtemework was my surgeon as well. I have an appt on 5/28 at 11am for my first fill. I wonder what in the world is going on? I really hope this wasn't a big mistake.
  16. I LOVE the Creamy Chicken Soup - It is Campbells Soup at hand. Creamy Tomato is good to eat as well
  17. I had my surgery on a Wednesday and had a hernia repair as well. I went back that following Monday and took it slow all week.
  18. I lost 5 pounds pre op and 10 pounds post op - for a total of 15 pounds and I was banded on 4/7/10
  19. Congratulations to you!! I was banded on 4/7 - my Dr. found a hernia too  They didn't tell me to drink 1 oz every hour. I even had a cup of Soup for dinner. I went back to work today and walked for 20 min during lunch. Feeling really good so far. Best of luck to you.
  20. I was also banded on 4/7. I had trouble sleeping as well. I will be so glad when I can sleep on my side and stomach again. Still a bit sore and trying not to over do anything. I have to be on a liquid diet for 10 days then mushies for 4 weeks. I have lost 5 pounds so far. I have been eating tomato soup and creamy chicken soup I have had some yogurt and some sugar free pudding and 2 sugar free popsicles. Along with 2 Protein drinks I make it in a blender with ice and it tastes like choclate icecream. 4 oz of skim milk 1 scoop of the powder add some ice and blend. mmm mmm. I wish everyone the best of luck and you begin your new journey.
  21. Wow you guys are doing awesome. Gives me something to strive for. I had my surgery on 4/7, so far I am doing pretty good, it's been 2 days on liquids.
  22. Sorry to hear you think the Optifast tastes horrid. I am on day 2 of the Optifast and so far so good. I like the way it tastes. My surgery is April 7th as well. I wish you luck and try not to think of how bad it taste and think of it as this is the start of the new YOU.
  23. Hello, CONGRATULATIONS - that is awesome. I have a surgery date of April 7th and have an appt with the office on Friday. I am very excited and nervous at the same time. I am more nervious about after the surgery and not losing the weight, and what all I should eat and how soon I can exercise. Airam
  24. THANK YOU VERY MUCH :smile2: I have another update - I finally have a surgery date April 7th 2010 - woo hoo. I have few mixed emotions now, I didn't think that would happen to me when I was reading other peoples posts, but it did lol. I am very happy one minute then want to cry the next minute lol. I guess that is normal. There was a mix up with the insurance but it is fixed now. The Surgery place thought I had Tricare Prime, but I have the standard and that is different. Standard doesn't really have any pre certs. So the hoops I was jumping through was not really needed. But the way I look at it is everything happens for a reason, and there was a reason it was meant to happen this way. SO YEAH, I can't wait for April 7th. Thank you all for your support and kind words. Talk to you soon.
  25. NEW UPDATE  "sample" for H-pylori came back NEGATIVE this time - woo hoo. Now I just have to wait for insurance approval from Tri-Care.
