I am having my surgery on Tuesday the 21st. Band out and sleeve in. Yeah. I want to start tracking both my weight loss and my food/water intake. I would love to hear what app works the best. It would be on my iPhone 6.

Will be sleeved on the 21st. I am doing Protein Shakes twice a day and a small low carbohydrate meal once a day. Clear Liquids on Monday. Excited and scared at the same time.

Looks like a new life together. But it is together. It sounds wonderful

Day three post op!! I'm leaving the hospital today! I've been in a lot of pain and gas pains but seem to be a little better today. Yay going home! How are you guys doing?
Hope you are feeling better.
Hang in there you have come so far.Today is the day for me. On my way to the hospital right now (I'm not driving). Surgery soon. I'm too worn down from not eating or drinking to be nervous.

Congrats. I am just a little under you for starting weight. I am being sleeved on July 21st.

Thanks ReaderGal. I am also going from a broken band to the sleeve. This helps a lot.

I would sign up. I have had to replace the port and have the second port fixed. Now the tubing broke off the port. I am in huge pain and waiting to have the band removed. Then I am getting a sleeve. Hopefully all in one surgery. But band has been tough for me.

Ok no sleeve yet but I am scheduled for July 21st. Starting liquid diet tomorrow.

Hello
I was banded in Feb 2006, my highest weight was 340lbs - I was able to get to 198lbs. I am 5'6". Well, I have had the port leak and was replaced - in 2007. I had the port come loose - 2007 and re-attached. And last year I started t feel no restriction, had an upper GI - they said the band was in place and all looked well. Well, I started gaining weight - I had no restriction I went to two different physicians for a fill - I still felt no restriction. I am gaining weight - I joined Weight Watchers. I stopped gaining - but was not losing. Then the pain started - it felt like I was being poked with a sharp object in my lower abdomen. To ER I go, turns out the tubing broke away from the port and a piece of the port is attached to loose tubing, per the CT scan.. This was 11 days ago. So, now I am looking into removing the band and replacing it with a Sleeve. I live in West Texas - Alpine and the surgeon who works with my insurance is in Laredo- Lonestar Surgery, Dr. Morris. So, I am sitting here in everything from cramp like discomfort to OMG - a poker punch of pain, waiting for all the paperwork to be submitted and trying to get the approval so I can have this in one surgery. That is what the surgeon is recommending.
So, has anyone else gone through this??

I had the band for 9 1/2 years before my revision last July. Had phantom port pain for the first 6 months. Now just every now and then.
