  1. Hey Sylvia, well those sound good, I didn't know that they made sugar free klondike bars. Yum I should look for those. Well I am not giving up, but I didn't not do well at all this weekend. I am seriously at a point where I just need to kick my own butt and get moving. I know what I have to do, it's just doing it that is killing me. I will get there, I am so glad you accepted my friend request. I know it is good to have people that are going through what I am going through, and I would love to beable to someone else as I go through it too. If you need any help please just let me know. I am planning on going to the local meetings/support groups. I think having others in my local area will be a good thing to have to talk to them and get hints from them too. Well keep in touch!!!

  2. Hi Tegan, I am ok, I did tomorrow will be 1 month I have had my band!!! WOOO HOOOO lol, I am doing good, in 6 weeks from the time I started the 2 week pre-op diet till today I have lost 25.6 lbs. I am doing well, just know I am going to need a fill at my next appt. which is the 25th of this month. So how are you doing? Hows your diet? Well I hope all is well with you also. Keep in touch!!! Thanks

  3. Hello my name is Tina, and I was looking at your pictures and OMG, you have done fabuleous!!! I just got banded a month ago tomorrow. I am pretty excited and I hope to have results as good as yours. I wish you the best of luck in your future!!!

  4. I am determined!!!

  5. Hey Morovis, lol, I don't even know your real name, but hey yeah hitting a plateau is a crappy thing, but you just have to push a little harder to get past it, I am at the same situation as you are. I have so much going on in my life right now that I am majorly stressed out so that doesn't help. So I am at 262 and still have a ways to go but 1 more lb and it will be my first 50 lbs off, which I am enjoying, but I am finding it tougher now. I don't see my doctor till October again, so he was happy with my progress in july after my first fill so he wanted to push me out to 3 months. Well anyway glad your doing good. Keep up the good work, God Bless!!!

  6. hello Morovis, how are you doing? I see your surgury is for this 23rd? Well good luck, I hope you all the best, I just got my band this past wednesday, and I am getting used to it but its going to take a little while, so anyway if you have any questions for me I would be glad to help!!!

  7. LOL, Well Hi Maritza, my surgury was Feb 10th of this year, and I got it done in Massachusetts. My workout, to be honest is whatever I do daily, I have been slacking in that area, I should and need to get into some type of routine that I use my treadmill atleast 3 to 4 times a week and do the exercises I need to do, but I have just been so blah lately and whatever, so I haven't. As for my eatting, well I found that I can eat anything mushy or liquidy, but i have a hard time with solids, specially chicken or meats of all kind. I can not eat bread at all, but I eat fish very easy, shrimp I have a hard time with and same with rice. I don't know it's all very different then from what I used to do, so I still have a hard time at times, but I am doing ok so far. It is definatly a lifestyle change!!!

  8. Love Zucchini posta!!!

  9. Hi M, I am not sure I have never had a fill, I have whatever he put in it when he put in the band. I am going in June for a checkup, and I am going to talk to him about doing one now. I know I am able to eat more then I should at this time only cause of the amount of solids I can eat. So Thanks I think that picture is from a month after I had the surgury. I am very excited about having it and I know everyday will be a challange, but I just have to keep in mind what is on the other end of all of this. I know I can do this!!!

  10. so happy for this long weekend!! my brain & body need it!!!

  11. Richele, you only had your surgury a week ago and you feel like you can eat anything??? I think you should probably talk to your doctor about that, cause that is not normal, I have had my band since feb 10th, and I just got my first fill. Have you been eatting alot? Well I don't know everyone is different but a week after my surgury I was still mostly on liquids and some mushy, but nothing solid!!! I also replied on the blog, but I wanted to make sure you saw this, so I wanted to post it to your page also!!!

  12. Hey Lauren, I am excited too, I just can't wait till it's Surgery day now! I am doing some Bariatric meal drinks, I have a chocolate and Banana flavored, I am supposed to have 3 - 4 shakes a day and I can have crystal light, broth soup, sugar free jello, I didn't think of sugar free popsicles, I should pick some of those up today for a night time snack, but the g2 gatorade and vitamin water 10 is good too. I am trying to add as much as I can to get a mix of things, but the shakes I have to add protien powder to one of them a day and fiber powder (which is nasty) to another one every day, but it's ok, I know it's not forever. So how are you doing on your diet? Well if you ever want to talk or want suggestions or anything I am here, I think things are easier when you have support from people going throught the same things I am. Well hope to talk to you soon.
