Thank you for checking up on me :smile2: I'm doing good I stayed the night in the hospital and came home this morning. My boyfriend and I walked around alot last night he's been so helpfu.l. I also had a Hernia (hiatal) repaired. I'm a little sore mostly were my port is. I only had a little gas pains in my chest and 1 episode of nausea I feel great about this choice and can't wait for the healing process to be over. Enough about me how are you doing?

Tomorrow is my Band Day
I have to be at the hospital at 10:00 A.M. my surgery is at 12:00 P.M. I will have to spend one night in the hospital because the surgery is in the afternoon that is my surgeons policy. -
Dropping bye to see how everyhing is going so far. I go in tomorrow for my band. I am really excited and nervous at the same time but I know everything will be okay hope all is well. :smile2:

@Michelejoy87 I understand how you feel. sometimes I get a little nervous when I think about the whole procedure my surgery is on March 2nd too. I really think everything will be okay for both of us stay positive and keep in touch :eek: -
I am going through the same thing right now. I started my liquid diet yesterday and my family did the same thing to me it was so hard but today was a little easier hoefully it will get better for you too. My surgery is on tuesday and It helps me to think about the surgery and the end result :smile2:

Hello everyone my name is Chaval I am 31 years old and I live in Aurora Colorado. Surgery Date: March 2nd, 2010 Where: North Suburban Medical Center in Thornton, Colorado. Doctor/Center: Dr. Doru I.E. Georgescu / Center Of Surgical Specialist Introduction to Weight loss Surgery Seminar : September 14th 2009. Surgery Orientation Class: October 19th 2009. Pre- Op Tests Completed: Labs, EKG, X-Ray) October 19th 2009. Additional Required Tests: EDG December 3rd 2009 Nutrition Consult: November 24th, 2009 Pulmonary Consult: December 15th, 2009 Psych Consult: January 14th, 2010 Pre-Op Class: February 2nd, 2010 How is Surgery funded: Colorado Medicaid. Concerns: Being able to sip water all day instead of drinking alot at one time and getting used to not drinking 30 mins before/ after eating. Reason for banding : I am a mother of 3 kids ( 1) ( 6yr boy and (2) 3yr old twins boy/Girl) and I want to be around for them. Wishing everyone luck :thumbup: -

We will have our surgery one day apart. So when do you start your liquid diet? I start next Tuesday. It's nice to know someone who will be going through the same thing at the same time. I am so excited for both of us because I know it's the start to a new beginning :thumbup: -
I am happy to hear the pain went away that fast :thumbup: I can only hope for the same . Did you have to stay overnight in the hospital or were you able to go home?

I am doing good I have about two weeks before my surgery (March 2nd) I start my liquid diet on the 23rd. My consent appointment is on friday time is going by so fast. Keep me posted on your date :smile2:

Your right I am very excited I wanted this to happen so bad. I will have to do a liquid diet starting Feb 23rd hopefully it wont be that bad . How is your liquid diet going?

My name is chaval and I see you were resntly approved for surgery Congrats!!! I just found out I was approved for surgery yesterday I will be banded on March 2nd 12:00 P.M. I am so excited. Hope all goes well for you keep in touch :laugh:
