Thanks for the kind words, encouragement and details. I actually DONT have any support at home, my mother lives about 35 min from me and of course, She's supportive via phone . I do have friends and coworkers that also support me so, I'm still blessed. Tomorrow is my appt for my yucky "Medifast" diet and 2 hours with the nutritionist. How much pain would you say you were in the first day?

Thanks for the picture compliment. So how are you feeling? Also, once your surgeon submitted your forms to Anthem (which I work at Anthem ) Did you say Anthem called you in 3 days that you were approved or your doctor found out in 3 days after submitting that you were approved? I am getting soooo antsy! They are still waiting for my psych eval to come back first. UGH!

Thanks Lovelyqueen and Aprilapple! @ Aprilapple, yesterday the office called to tell me that all but my psych eval is in and they just got back from my insurance co (which I work at Anthem lol) that my benefits are covered. so once the psych eval returns which could be tomorrow or next week, then they have to submit everything to insurance. Whew! I hate waiting! So I am looking at probably getting banded by March.....Grrrrr!

Wait! Pump the brakes!!! Why you gotta stay over night honey for just a lapband? Now I do know with the new "Rose" procedure for those who once had gastric bypass and either it didnt work or they gained all the weight back, people stay over night, however, not with the lapband. So Wassup with that? I have the Realize Band C Which i found out the "C" stands for Curved. The other Realize band isnt curved. Hit me back!

Wassup Diva~ How ya feeling? Im still a little sore around my port area and I need my fill immediately! Girl I am hungry and can eat like no tomorrow! I also just found out by looking at my own claims....since I work at Anthem that I also had a hernia repair.....Ummmmmm........nobody told me or my family nothing about that, which explains why I am still so tender around my belly button. Humph! anyway, what foods are you eating now?

Well, your prayers must have worked. At or about 9p last night, i can report just a feeling of soreness. It feels like Billy Blanks and I had a date with a super ab workout! Other than that, no gas-no pain! Thanks again for checkin on me!

Work it! Work it! Wooo hoo hoo! I am feeling great! I done made some jello this morning to have at lunch, took my doggie to the mailbox and back and now surfing the web. I did gulp my applesauce too fast and had a knot feeling between my boobs and the top of my stomach. Lesson taught! I have to slow it down while eating.....even applesauce!

Wow! Perfect10! That was fast. Well, I have an update! My psych eval came back yesterday. Since Monday is MLK Day, they will submit to Anthem on Tuesday the 19th. I have already got my surgery clearance so I am waiting for the OK and let's schedule! Ugh! Can't wait!

Wow! they filled it already? I wish they would have filled mine 2 weeks ago because I am already able to eat the amount I ate Pre-surgery. I don't get my first fill until next wednesday. tomorrow is incision check. The only thing that still hurts on me is to the right of my belly button where I guess my port is. Glad your doing great!

Yay me! I got my first PAINFUL fill! All of 6.5 cc's. So now i'm on liquids until tomorrow and then the pureed and so forth!

Yes darling! Everything is good except for the port pain by my belly button, since my surgeon decided "for me" that the Realize Band C was a better choice. Hummm. Other

YES! I am officially BANDED as of this morning! Feeling a bit nauseous and the GAS pain on my left side is HORRIBLE! Gas X strips isn't helping at all! No pain on or in stomach as of yet. I know the next day will be a different story. It's all good!

YES!!!!! I'm approved and will get scheduled on Monday, Jan 25th! It took less than 7 hours for my approval!
