I remember watching episodes of "Biggest Loser" in my past after having run to a local fast food joint...pigging out on a probably 2,000+ calorie meal while watching others lose the weight. Tonight I watched last night's episode while sipping a 60 calorie Cafe Mocha (Keurig) and then followed the episode with a quick Zumba workout on the Wii. Man, times have changed.

Learning about where we are going regarding health care reform at the CPEEHCC conference. I think that's the longest acronym I know.

Molly's getting her blood drawn again to test her ever changing thyroid levels. Poor kitty. She'll be mad and hissy for the rest of the weekend.

No particular reason I didn't go to Dr. Garcia...I just called the number for Top Surgeons one day and got the ball rolling. I had met with a doctor in Delano last year, but wasn't quite ready for all of it...it would have been GB surgery, though, since that doctor didn't do LapBands.

Nothin' like a Friday evening, my DVR, pajamas and some pumpkin spice coffee (w/sugar free pumpkin spice creamer, of course!)...yes, I realize that this blissful Friday night is brought to you by my aging preferences.

On this day in 1918, an armistice between the Allied nations and Germany went into effect, ending World War I.An act approved in 1938 made Nov. 11 a legal U.S. holiday to be celebrated and known as "Armistice Day." In the 1950s, "Armistice Day" became known instead as "Veterans Day."Thank you to all my friends and family who are Veterans or are currently serving - special shout out to my sister Jacquie and her husband Brett for their service! Love you both!

Relieved to finally see my LapBand doctor again...been fighting the fact that I've been bordering on too tight for a MONTH. I'm ready to eat and drink again.
