Hi There!

I am a newbie to the forum and am still considering the LapBand procedure. I wanted to tell you that I read one of your recent posts about the length of time and your satisifcation with the band and I wanted to say thank you. You seem like a real person who struggled and trimuphed - which to me is really important.

Since I am researching the procedure and considering it, do you have an advice for me?

I am scared as hell! I am 34 years old with 100lbs over weight and have high blood pressure. I just noticed that my feet and ankles swell daily. With all of the co-morbidities I have (all sorts of cardiovascular and other diseases in my family), I need to get serious and get this weight off.
