Hello Kymmi. Congratulations on making the decision to have surgery and your results so far. I had the VSG on 03/29/10 and am down 45 pounds thus far. It's good to hear you had no complications and are already enjoying the results of your hard work. Keep up the good work!

I'm proud of you for posting A picture. You should go ahead and create an album. You will be amazed at how rewarding it will feel to look at "before" pictures. Can you believe we will finally be the "after"???? :-0

Hello, Bill. I have a consultation scheduled with Dr. Ganta (in Austin) this month for the sleeve. However, recently I have been researching Dr. Almanza's facility and staff. I have yet to find anyone that has had a sleeve done by Dr. Almanza until you. I have so many questions about going to Mexico for the procedure and would love to bend your ear. Please let me know what you thought about the doctors, staff, facility, and follow-up instructions. I have been mostly worried about the follow ups. It's my understanding there is a drain that will be in for about a week post-op...how is that handled? Do you have to go back to Mexico? Sorry for all of the questions. I appreciate any/all of your time.

Girly.girl, you should go ahead and post your before pictures!!! I want to see at least 3 and I think at least 1 should be a full body shot. No matter how difficult it feels, I truly think it's important. If I can do it, you can too. :-)

How did your surgery go? I'm new to the forum and saw your profile...I'm hopefully going to have my surgery early 2010 and thought I would check in with you.
