  1. So I was drying off after my shower this morning and realized that drying certain hard to reach crevices is WAY easier then it was 2 months ago HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 221.6
  2. Me too, shared a regular order with my son and still had leftovers....AWESOME!!!!!! HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 221.6
  3. What I got from Bobbie (babysteps) can't wait to try the Protein bats!!!! (Pardon the dog nose) The itty bitty spoons and forks are hysterical, think I'll take em to work since lunch seems to be hardest for me (more junk around). Love it all, thank you so much!!!!
  4. I do a breathe test for my patient's that have tested positive before....you breathe into a small bag and they send that off for analysis.
  5. I forgot to put the Chapstick in!!!!!!' Crap.
  6. Everything has made me queasy today, no explanation. Fun fun fun!!!
  7. Yup, weak, shaky, heart racing, queasy, headache, sweaty, feel almost like you could pass out....I haven't had pain with any of my episodes, that sounds more like eating too much too fast or just too big a bite of setting that got stuck for a bit. My bad bad dump was on 4 ounces of very loose cream of heat eaten over about 20-25 minutes.....it wasn't that I the too much it was that I am sensitive to carbs an had no protein to help level it out. Fun times!!!!
  8. Just found these lurking in the back of my closet! Let me know if you're interested otherwise they go in the donate pile with everything else! I'm 5'6 and this was essentially to my feet, the outer jacket is also long and is sheer. Without the jacket Shorter black dress with lace jacket (below the knee) the jacket is also black just looks funny here... Burgundy full length, ties in the back, has a pretty sheer overlay you can't really see More detail on the dress.
  9. Lol, yup, Baker! HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 221.6
  10. It was over a month before shakes didn't make me gag :/ I mix milk with SF Jello (strawberry!) to make it strawberry milk I have never liked milk!! HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 221.6
  11. Cream of wheat if I have it alone, it's fine if I have 1/2 a Protein Shake with it. I haven't been super adventurous yet with food but anything on the greasy side makes me queasy but the cream of wheat was the only full blow 'omg I'm gonna die' dump. HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 221.6
  12. Yup! You did good keep breathing! HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 221.6
  13. But 6 weeks ago you could eat 4000 calories a day..... HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 221.6
  14. I essentially did this but halved it. Used just cream of chicken and used extra chicken and the full 6 oz of velveeta.....I'm a cheesie kinda girl HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 221.6
  15. Chicken spaghetti with whole wheat pasta, managed about 3 ounces, was delish!!! HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 221.6
  16. How do you make the zucchini crisps???? HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 221.6
  17. I fly from Little Rock to Miami in June, hope to be about 20 more down and fit decently and not have the person next to me be avoiding my over flowing flab!
  18. I'm that girl too....better safe than sorry. I'm a family practice PA and during the six months between band removal and bypass I did a lot of research. It appears more and more docs are going to waiting between the band removal and bypass....complication rates seem to be lower. I you need a shoulder to cry on, I'm your girl. I felt so betrayed by my body at first....I was sad and cried then I got madder than hell. Keep on doing what you're doing. Your time will come. Honestly the first month or two took for ever but after that it flew. The one thing that really helped was that they gave me a surgery date at my 2 week post op follow up....I started counting days 6 months before I had my RNY....having the date, having an end in sight, really helped me!!!! You can do this :$
  19. You gotta drink your shakes though dear, gotta get your protein!!! You'll be fine, follow your docs rules and go slow
  20. Doesn't have to be sugary....my first (and worst) dump was a couple weeks post-op on 4 oz of cream of wheat with Splenda (an approved food at the time), I've also dumped on protein bars with 18 g of carbs....I'm one of the sensitive kids with the tiny amounts you're eating unless you're eating pure carbs you should be fine.
