  1. Hi Ara! I hope you are doing well. I am grumpy today! Going in to get another fill tomorrow. I have lost 3 lbs this month. Do you think they will give me a fill? GRRRRR!!!! I need to quit eating bread. Hugs!

  2. Great job on your weight loss! Keep up the good work!!!

  3. Great Job!!! Very impressed on your weightloss! Any tips? I have a 14cc band too. I am at 6.5cc now. Had my second fill yesterday, and I am feeling some restriction now. I have only been on liquids, but will be able to try solids tomorrow. Keep up the great work! You are an inspiration!!!!!

  4. Bellyfatgone had surgery the same day we did. She was actually at my hospital on the same floor! LOL She had her fill yesterday, and feels so restriction. :( They said it will take a couple of times before it began to work. She is still hungry! I was hoping for something to help me with my hunger. I am still sticking to no pasta, rice or bread, and I am eating healthy, but if I am hungry I am going to eat. Let me know how things go on Monday! :)

    Thank you for your condolences!

  5. HI Jdog! I hope you are doing well! How are you feeling? Thinking of you!!!! :)

  6. I hope you are doing well! I will finally get my fill on the 16th. Woo Hoo! Still eating low carb. I have been eating more than 1/4 cup at meals, but I stop when I am full. I have not had pasta in months! I miss pasta! LOL

Let me know how you are doing?

    Lisa :)

  7. HI :) Doing well. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. My Grandfather died last week. :( I have been in Philly for his funeral. He died peacefully hugging my Grandmom, so I am thankful they were together, and he did not experience any pain.

How are you feeling? I am feeling 100% compared to when I had the surgery. LOL I thought I was going to die that first week! I have lost 17 lbs since surgery. I have been doing a low carb/high protein diet. I did not do too well this weekend at the funeral, but compared to what I would use to eat, I did great!!!! I get my first fill on the 16th, and I cannot wait. I am tired of being hungry( I am actually getting use to it now though!!!). LOL Take care!!!!

  8. I was completely freaking out during the 1st and 2nd period!!!! Y'all definitely out shot us! I am so pumped we beat the Pens. I cannot stand that team. I was bummed that Y'all did not beat them in The Cup last year! Have a good week!

  9. I am glad you are feeling well! I am hungry too! My stomach is grumbling as I type! LOL I will find out when my first fill is, and when I can eat solids tomorrow. I do not think I have lost any weight either. I feel like a bloated heech! Hang in there! :)

  10. I am excited that we were at the hospital the same day for surgery! Too Funny! I have a ton of questions I want to ask you!

  11. How are you feeling? I hope you are well! I am doing fine. Starting to get hungry. My Dr. gave me the large LapBand. He said that it does not really restrict the stomach. I go see him tomorrow and will find out what is going on. Take Care!

  12. We play y'all on the 19th. I will be at that game! I have season tickets to the Capitals! Go Caps!

  13. I have been getting all the protein and fluids I need, if not more. I have two protein supplements a day. One can of soup at hand, two sugar free puddings, and a sugar free jello and fudgcicle. I am definitely pigging out! I am getting about 800 calories a day. I need to walk more. I really appreciate your prayers! That is so sweet of you! I had my surgery on the 28th, 6 days ago. I do feel a bit better each day. I am making the blues go away!

I go back to work on Monday. Thank you for all the support!!!

  14. I am feeling better today. Still bloated though! ARG! I have been drinking and drinking and drinking! I go back to work on Monday, so I hope I am not grumpy! My students are pretty good about behaving if they know I am not feeling well, so hopefully they will keep it together! HA HA HA!

That is greyt that you are so active in greyhound rescue! I was heavily involved until I got divorced. Being a single mom takes a lot of my time. I do volunteer for the group here and there, but not so much anymore.

I still want to get another grey, but my old lady, Bobbie, is content with being the only grey right now. She is very finicky in her old age. She spends most of her time in my bedroom and only comes out for walks and to go out to the restroom. She even demands room service for her breakfast and dinner! She is definitely the queen of the house!

Congrats of your group adopting out 400+ greys!!!! That takes a lot of dedication!!! Greyhound people are the best!!!!

  15. How long did it take you to feel better? I have been so blue. I feel like I am in limbo. Happy New Year!

  16. Are you on Greytalk? I was on that site back in 01. After losing my boy to osteo, I took a step back. I still have my wonderful girl, Bobbie. She will be 12 this year. My friend Deb, aka Mackey Pack lives in the Bay area. That would be funny if y'all knew each other!

  17. Love Greyhounds!!!!! Your baby is too cute!

  18. Go Caps!!!! Congratulations on your success! You were off to a great start before the surgery!
