  1. Hey - I don't know why I didn't notice your message until now. How are you doing? How is your diet progressing. I'm still amazed by how little I eat! The weight is moving slowly for me, but I am losing inches!! I joined a gym for the first time in my life and will begin going after work today. Who knew I would ever be EXCITED to go to a gym?!? I'm also amazed at the person that I have become! :D

  2. I'm doing good...the only struggle I'm having is with my port incision. It's right below my breat bone, which worked out well for quick healing and getting around, but it's on my bra line. Today was the first day that I could wear a bra all day long without pain. I was allowed mushies late last week and was advanced to regular food on Tuesday with a reminder to chew chew chew! Baked fish tastes so much better when you can chew it yourself! When do you move on to solid food?

  3. Hey! Hope you're doing well!

  4. Hi - I'm doing great! 3 of my incisions are pretty well healed. My port is right below my breast bone and taking a bit longer to heal. Had my pre-op on Tuesday and my dr was happy with me so far. Today was the first day that I really felt like myself! How are you doing?

  5. Hi - I'm doing well. 3 of my incisions are pretty well healed, paying special attention to the 4th. I had my post op appt on Tuesday and am down about 13lbs! The weight loss is not really typical, but I'll take it! I'm finally back on regular food now too! :D Best of wishes to you. The liquid diet is not easy, but is definitely necessary! It'll all be behind you before you knowit!

  6. Hi -

I'm thrilled about taking 2 weeks off too! I'm doing well, not noticing any change on the scale, but my clothes are fitting differently and I have lost the fat roll that I had on my neck! :D I had bowel issues to, but my mom put so much benefiber in a bottle of water that it was cloudy and I almost had to chew it. It took over 24 hours to work, but I have been regular ever since. This morning I woke up and was not at all hungry. I tried to force something down but it didn't go well, after that I suffered with nausea most of the day. By dinner time I was fine. Who knows what's going on there...one more thing for me to discuss with my dr on Tuesday.

  7. Hey there!

My surgery was very uneventful! I arrived at 6am and was in the surgery holding room by 7. I have no memories of the OR. I am sore around my port site, but so far no real pain and no gas pain. Praise God!! I hope that you have a similarly uneventful surgery day story!

  8. Good luck tomorrow! I wish you a safe surgery and a speedy recovery!
