I was banded on February 16th. I get my first fill today!!! I am starving, I hope this helps! I can eat way more than the 4 oz! I have only gotten stuck one time, I hope it stays that way! I also hope I have no PB's...never had one, doesn't sound like I want to! I am on all liquids today...yuck!

I had the same thing happen when I was about 6 days post op. It felt like I had blown something out of my belly. It hurt for a couple of days....but I don't think I did any damage. I was banded on 2/16/2010.

I was in HS and wasn't really that big. I thought I was HUGE, I weighed about 150. I was bigger than most of my friends. Anyway, I was at the grocery store checking out and a friend of mine's brother (who was really loud and really obnoxious) asked me why I didn't come over to the house anymore, the other fat girl does! I have seen him on FB and he is the Fat boy now!!!

It is normal. I even canceled my first surgery date. After 6 months of pre-op nurtitional counseling! I finally had it done last week. You will be fine! Good Luck!

I live 10 minutes from the Boardwalk! My girls love to go there! Where did you have your surgery? How are you doing so far? I am so pleased with mine, except for the pain around the port area. I will be glad to be your "Buddy". Great to hear from you!

I hope your surgery goes well too! Mine went great! I was basnded on the 16th, came back to work on the 18th. I only took Tylenol. I have lost 11.4 lbs. I feel great! Wish I had done it sooner!

I have one regret....I didn't get it sooner! I love to cook and eat...I just make alot less and eat alot less!

I was banded last week and it still hurts! I sneezed the other day and checked to see if it had flown out! I just knew I had ripped it! I guess everything is ok, I am not vomiting!

My Dr says liquids for two weeks, mushies for 2 weeks after that. Just wondering about other Dr.'s?

I want honest answers....how many of you stayed on liquids the two weeks post op?

I had surgery on 2/16/10 and I have lost about 8 lbs. I know alot of that is fluid. I don't care where it comes from. I feel like I have alot of restriction. I have 3cc in a 10 cc band. I guess that is normal?!?
