Cole Slaw vs Salad greens
Well, it could be the size of the coleslaw as opposed to the size of the salad greens. But, I stay away from most salad, too. Iceberg lettuce is the worst! It is hard to chew up and it isn't that good for you. If you want to eat salad, try, baby spinach or other greens. Best wishes, Karen

Grapes!!!!
I can't eat anything with skin! If you peel them, hey might be better for you. I just avoid them, blue berries, and oranges (unless cut up). So, that is the only advice I have for you! Good luck! Karen

The difference between stuck and too full ????
I agree with summerrain, you probably are swollen from 2 episodes of pb'ing. But if you constantly have this issue, you might want to have a slight unfill. I keep my band where I am comfortable as I am in maintenance. But, there are times I pb still, and as soon as I do, I know that it was something I, unwisely, ate! Best wishes, Karen PS: I can't eat green beans!

feeling like a failure already
After surgery, I think it was a good 2 months before I started losing any weight. I ahd lost about 25 lbs on my 6 month diet, and lost only 6 lbs on liquids diet. But after surgery, it stopped, I was also embarrassed. soon, I was my surgeon's super-star and lost 100 lbs in 1 1/2 years. hang in there! Best wishes, Karen

Maintenance a walk in the park?

Sleeve Forum is wrong about the band
I was talking to my surgeon this am. He said that some doctors hire women to bash the other surgeries. He said when lapbandtalk.com 1st started there were a lot of woman paid by Mexican surgeons to come on here and make false claims about their American surgeons. I told him that we can pick up a phoney pretty quickly, now! Hurray for our people who can see through trolls. Karen

concerning the restaurants closing, I live in Lakeland, Fl. That is where Darden rest started. I, also, have not heard about a closing of the restautants. Maybe some of the local places, but not the chains. I did hear that they had a loss last quarter!

I wanted to add, that in both the marriages spoke about above, the ladies involved got more self confident and if they previously were afraid, they no longer were after they lost weight!
