  1. I have a low tolerance for pain but it really was not too bad. I got up and start walking 7 hours after my surgery and that was slow and uncomfortable but not really that bad. Just make sure that, and I tell everyone this... take the pain meds that they will prescribe they let you rest and allow your body to heal. I dont like taking pain meds but I sure did take these. Give yourself enough time to rest away from work. And whatever you do in the first few days try not to scrunch your belly like sitting up.... try to roll into standing... that is how I hurt myself after my surgery Oh and take the gasX strips and walk to keep the gas pain down because you will have that. Even if it is just up and down the hall. I actually walked down the breezeway from the door of my apt to the apt about 40 feet away.... up and down the breezeway like 10 times every time I walked. And walking keeps the blood clots away.... those are bad you don't want those. If you need anything please contact me.
