  1. Helen, GA was adorable! I'm not sure where we ate, but we sat outside by a little riverside near the little bridge right downtown. I would have like to spend more time there, but maybe I will go back someday.

  2. I didn't know you could even subscribe to a blog! That you would subscribe to mine might be one of the best compliments that I have ever received. :) I love that we are all here for each other and are "in it" together! Good luck weathering your convention and I hope the scale gives you super news when you get home!!

  3. Thank you for your kind words today. I feel like I have to reset and remotivate constantly. I'm glad that you are recommitting yourself...it feels SO GOOD when you get some results. Best of luck to you! And thank you for your message which gives ME motivation.

  4. Aw, thanks! I do feel great. :) Each day is hard, but it is also easier, you know? It is so good to have each other to go through it together.

  5. I'm sure that it will be nothing, but thanks for you good thoughts! My tonsilectomy is on 12/09 and I will be SO GLAD to have that behind me. You have a super weekend!! :)

  6. Yeah, I wear a 10B show but 10.5D sneaker. You should try going to a running shoe store where they will watch you walk and measure you. It can be a litle pricey, but it was really worth it for me. Might not be the same for you, but it is worth checking out. Good luck!

  7. Seahawk=ouch! I'm sure they will turn it around eventually. The Colts before Manning weren't exactly tearing it up. :)

  8. mezzo, you had asked me how long it took me to run my first 5K. I started running in May and I could barely make it a mile (and that took about 20 minutes). So basically most people could walk faster than I could jog. By Labor Day, I was able to run my first 5K in 48:03. The hardest part is just making myself start running each week. :)

  9. Thanks for your support today! :) You are doing a FABULOUS job!!

  10. Thank you for your sweet words today. I'm starting to believe that it does look good. I think it just isn't "me". :) It helps to be able to vent!!

  11. I totally am an accountant!! :) I read a quote in a book once where the writer said that she logs so much information that if she didn't like it one way (i.e. the scale), she would manipulate the date until she did. That is so me!! :) Thank you for your wonderful support!

  12. That is SUPER GREAT news!! I love it!

  13. Thanks for responding to my blog entry today. It is tough for me to admit what I did to myself during those years. But all we can do is move forward, right? You are doing so GREAT!

  14. My weightloss is slow but steady. I will have a big loss week, and then a no loss week. As long as it keeps going in the right direction, I'm staying patient!

  15. Oh my goodness!! I'm feeling better about myself, but not enough to show my booty around. :) Ha! I've been trying to go to discount places to shop, so that helps.

  16. My limit on baggy jeans - if I can take them off without undoing the fly? Time to get new jeans. :) You will be out of those pesky 300s in no time! Good luck!!

  17. I do love my BodyBugg! I am diligent about logging every single thing I put in my mouth (which I have NEVER been able to stick with before.) I also keep a spreadsheet with daily calories burned vs. calories consumed and difference. I convert that difference into pounds lost (assuming 3500 calories=one pound.) That's how I track how much I "should" be losing vs. how much I am REALLY losing (via the scale.) Why yes, I am quite anal... :) It has really helped ME though because I do better with information. "Just because" doesn't motivate me. Good luck!!

  18. I've done all my shopping at Ross, Kohl's, DSW, & Norstrom Rack. I did splurge for an outfit at NY&Co. It isn't super expensive, but I want to only shop for bargains at the moment since I don't plan to be able to wear these clothes next year!! My only other splurge was a motorcycle jacket, but I did get it 1/2 price at the Rack. It was still expensive, but looks SO good! :) I'm going to go jeans shopping at Kohl's since the have reasonably prices Levi's. They seem to fit well right now.

  19. Peanut butter cupcake...mmmmmmmmm...

  20. Your comment that I must be close to goal is sweet!! It literally made me smile. But I still have 35 pounds to go to get to my MINIMUM goal of not being obese. My goal with my nutritionist (which still wouldn't put me in "normal" range) is another 50 pounds away. I don't ever think I will be in the "normal" range, but if I can fit in some size 10s, I think I would not care less. :) Thank you for you consistent support. It means a lot!!

  21. Thank you for your shopping tips!! I think you are absolutely right about steering toward black and darks. I'm going to make an effort to be a little bolder with my fashion choices!!

  22. Hi! You asked on my blog about my weight/size... I started at 285# and struggled to fit into size 22s and shirts were 20s and 3Xs. Right now I'm in that awkward lowest women's sizes/highest Misses sizes. I'm currently 217# and wearing size 16 Levis and an XL Misses shirt.

  23. You and me both! Keep up the awesomeness!! :)

  24. Hey chica! I'm not sure if you decided to get a Body Bugg, but if you are still looking at things, I just heard about ExerSpy. It sounds VERY similar and looks to be slightly cheaper. Something to check out if you are interested. ::Hugs::

  25. I know! Things have a way of evening out, huh?
