Pureed Food :) :hungry: I had my surgery on Dec. 11, and I am having a horrible time with the food. I know the band is working, I have not had a fill yet but I am not hungry until around 1pm. So I know the band is working I am gagging on those pureed foods so what can I do? I eat only twice a day, I am not hungry but when I eat, I will eat ground beef, potatos and cheese. (chopped really good) Please :help: me because I do not want to dislodge my band. Any Suggestions?

I appreciate your wonderful ideas but, When I am hungry I just seem to eat the wrong things. The food I eat agrees with me but I don't want to dislodge my band. I will try corn beef hash, peaches, and pears, Ido not like yogart it taste like spoiled milk. Thank You much

Does everyone experience band slippage and who has gone years without the slippage? Please provide me with your observation of the band slippage and does the doctors know what causes the slippage and erosion information. Just concerned:confused:

StephC I don't think or feel you was judging her, KarenAR is mad because she you called her out on those ridiculous lies she is telling I had a couple of doctors read her post and they drowned themself in laugher. Why would an emergency room not have proper medical eqiupment??????? I understand some things but a NEEDLE

Well I think that doctor got to be ignorant, because how would you take a person never been to any type of medical school and expect them to provide fills in the port of the band:paranoid got to be studpied. INAMED are clinicians that are trained to provide the service to patients, we (U.S.) deals with authorized clinicians that injects the saline into the self sealing access port. We are not stupied enough to do it to ourselves and we know we have not been trained. So your doctor need to be careful of a lawsuit because he is neglecting his patients. If the only thing you got to do is to see who is having trouble out of their lapband, I have one quote "Misery Loves Company"

Please don't feel bad after reading so many of the post, I see that it could be common to fail on some days. I know we can not keep cheating but this website really motivates me to continue and do well. I had a piece of chicken the other day and my daughter screamed, " You don't suppose to have that" so I also got another reminder beside you guys, I really appreciate the support here. Everyone lets just get back on the band wagon because we are going to look so good.:clap2:

Were you on a pre op diet before your surgery because out of my two weeks I only lost 10lsbs but I also cheated too

What are some good recepies (liquids and mushy) for the first six weeks after the surgery?

how did you know you had a port and band leak, what are some of the symptoms?

I was banded on Dec. 11th and doing well I have lost 10 lbs. I hate myself right now for eating a piece of fried chicken today although I did not eat all of it but I took two bites out of it.

I would just walk. Walking really help ease those pains and you might want to get you some gas-X because that is the exact way I was and LBT had me to get gas_X and I have been all right every since. I start my workout today and I was banded on Dec. 11. Good Luck let me know how things work out for you

IS IT NORMAL TO FEEL LIKE I CAN NOT LIFT MYSELF UP. I WAS ALSO ABLE TO DRINK AND EAT. I ALSO ATE A PIECE OF HAMBURGER MEAT:hungry: WITH CHEESE. PLEASE HELP WHAT DO I DO. I don't know maybe someone can help me too:help: , one time I was so thirsty after eating mashed potatoes, I drank water but nothing happened. Is it possible I could dis-lodge my band?

I did talk with the nutriionist but I get hungry and will try and eat those things I have been very bad but I will start again right now sticking to my liquids. I hate I am having a hard time, because I really need to lose weight.

I did purchase gas-X and taking phenerine and YES I feel so much better. I also wanted to wanted to ask about cream of chicken Soup, it has no noodles but a little bit of meat, so what do you think? is you doctor putting you on a liquid pre opt diet because mine is not but everyone else I talk with they're doctor is having them to start a liquid diet before the surgery to losen the liver. what about everyone else?

Oh My GOD, what happen reason you are suing your doctor.? I tried scrolling but I could not find the orginal problem. the reason I ask is that I am being banded on Dec. 11, 06 and this worries me.
